I’ve been bamboozled. I thought this was an authentic Mexican restaurant at first. In a rush during my lunch, I called in an order for a burrito bowl and ordered in Spanish. They just spoke back in English which should’ve been my first hint. When I arrived to the restaurant, it was inside of a Persian restaurant. They served both cuisines apparently. I asked for habanero sauce and they didn’t even know what that was. I should’ve checked my food before I left but it was too late when I looked halfway on my way back to work. Brown guac, olives for some unknown reason(???) and dry shredded lettuce. Please avoid this place if you are looking for actual Mexican food.

I moved to Oregon when I was 3 years old. I don't remember exactly when my family first took me to this restaurant, but I remember that for many years, I said the name wrong because my brother told me it said Taco Bandito instead. I remember coming here before going to a Blazers game with my dad, I remember when they closed for a bit to move further into the strip mall. My memory is not great and not precise, but I remember how this place has made me feel for years. I remember how I would ride my bike in the rain just because I was craving a taco. I remember the first time I came back after a difficult first year at college. All this to say, their food is still incredible after all these years, their staff is still always so kind, and the energy is unmatched

Not a fan of the tacos, the sauce for the fish taco tasted like really sweet watery big Mac sauce, very little meat, and I think there was parsley on top and not cilantro. The restaurant is clean and the lady working was friendly. I want to go back I have higher hopes for the Persian food.

Mexican food is not good. I should have turned around when I realized they served both Mexican and Persian food. “Spicy” salsa was bland and no heat, medium burrito was all tortilla. I suspect the owners have never even been to Mexico. Nice people though.
Go to. Chipotle instead and you can thank me later.
