3/08/24 Best thing I can say about my BanhMi PorkBelly sandwich: the coleslaw was very good and the bread was fresh. The pork belly was inedible; tougher than jerky. Haven't been here in a year. This was very disappointing.

I normally order the chicken Katsu with garlic noodles and the chicken is almost always fresh. The order I received today, the chicken was hard and appears as if it had been cooked over the weekend and re-heated. The noodles were good as usual, but the meal would have been better if the chicken was freshly made.

$14 for a shrimp po'boy which consisted of 5 shrimp, toasted bread and carrots. Outrageous price for what you get. Rip off.Won't be going back.

High hopes dashed by indifference. I did not feel love in the Bahn Mi Up. My tea was not hot. My stew not soft. When I order hot jasmine tea and it comes in a tetsubin, I am excited because I expect it to be hot and stay hot. When it comes luke warm and swiftly gets cold, it is because the iron pot was not warmed first before pouring in the tea, which should be a simple step. When I order a stew I expect the meat to be soft and not hard and chewy. When I read there will pickled daikon I hope there will be pickled daikon. And then there is this thing about “No Cash Accepted”. I am an old man and I pay as I go and this does not make me feel welcome. And I do not like being confronted with a request for a tip before I know how the service is… (see issue with lukewarm tea). I don’t know, maybe they’ve been robbed or something, but advertise on your listing so I don’t show up with cash in hand and thumb in my nose. The food did not come out remotely together. The staff seemed to not particularly care. So I suppose I don’t particularly care either. They will not be on my list, I wouldn’t bother coming back.

I had a craving for a vermicelli bowl so stopped in to grab a bite to go. I ordered the grilled pork bowl. There was around 30% meat to 70% fat and gristle. It looked and smelled yummy. The meat I could eat was tasty. The dogs enjoyed the majority of the meal. Unfortunately for the cost it was a huge disappointment. Such a bummer.

Great spot in St John's neighborhood. Love this area. Definitely will be back. Got a few items to try out. The roasted pork belly Banh Mi sandwich. Very good, but I would have loved to have more of the mayo as it left it a little try unless you used the house sauces. The two were amazing. The veggies on the sandwich were flavorful but would have preferred the carrot sticks to be cut down in size. Too large on a sandwich of any kind. Also, I got the grilled chicken Bahn Mi Tasty as well. The taro veggie rolls was nothing special, in my opinion. Love the outdoor area and will next time sit out there when the weather is nicer.Parking: Small parking lot. I think there was 4 on site.

An insult to your stomach! Had this delivered. I got old food. Nothing fresh. Nothing seasoned. Nothing hot. DONT DO IT. If you are not sure.. DON'T DO IT!

Delicious food and good experience. Best to call in order for carry out. Limited parking, very small location.

With no doubt, the first thing that popped out at us was the Pork Belly offerings which isn't something you would typically see for Bahn Mi. So we decided to order the Roasted Pork Belly sandwich and rice bowl. They were both very delicious and went so well with the pickled condiments! We also opted to try the Vegan Vietnamese Iced Coffee. If you like coconut milk, it was really good. We were on a tight schedule so we took it to go. We lived in St. John's for a few years before moving to Hillsboro, but will definitely add this place on the list whenever we're in the area.

Ewww. Ordered the vegan pho and it smells and looks so gross. :( The bok choy was inedible and the rest of the veggies were mush and the carrots had a strange white center that was almost translucent. The veggies topping that come with were mostly fresh but the tofu was extremely meh, somewhere weirdly in between being air fried and untouched. There's a strange smell coming from the broth and there's a strange greasy residue layered on the top. It doesn't smell like chili oil, but I'm assuming that's what it is? I'd rather just have had the broth instead of added oil. They put the hoisin sauce on the side, why not put the oil on the side too? Overall generally just hard to eat bc I can't get past the smell. Will likely toss. Wish I had different broth at home I could use.

I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad ones, but the food was so bad we threw it out. Just thought I'd save someone else the money. I don't know how this place is still in business and has the stars it has.

Lovely well-packed banh mi's! The carrots and radishes were cut thicker than I expected but the taste was still great! The cole slaw was pretty average, but overall very yummy

LOVE LOVE LOVE. So so super delicious and fresh. Great selection of food and drinks and I'm looking forward to returning. The fake pork was delish. I'm hungry for it now!
