$8 for a measured shot of mediocre (being generous) well tequila (Astral blanco) is not how you cultivate repeat customers.

We were looking for a nice, upscale cocktail bar, and a friend told us how great this place was, so we decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon.

The place is super cute and feels really welcoming as soon as you walk in. Elias is an awesome mixologist—super knowledgeable about the drinks and ingredients and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does.

We showed up during Happy Hour, which was a nice surprise! Definitely worth checking this place out if you’re looking for great cocktails and good vibes.

Loved the interesting and delicious dishes of pickled foods. Was a bit pricey for the drinks and food. Didn’t expect this price coming from a place with ‘tavern’ in the name. Probably would come back for the food.

Friendly, knowledgeable bartenders and farm-to-table food. Portions can be quite small, but Taco Tuesday is an amazing deal.

Ok spot if you can’t be bothered to walk a few blocks away.

Very unwelcoming. Stood at the bar 5 minutes and the bar tenders seemed occupied with other tasks. Not even an acknowledgement. Do better.

This is our go to for creative and excellent food, a creative bar, and just great vibes.

Chef Trever has really upped the food here, and everything is excellent. My husband and I end up sharing small plates and have loved every single dish so far. From roasted carrots to Raab salad, salmon, pork chops, desserts - all amazing! (and we don’t even like desserts!)

By far away hidden gem. The best hamburger I've had in recent memory.

Oh man, Bantam Tavern has been one of my neighborhood bars for several years but the recent chef, Trever, just keeps blowing my mind with evermore fabulous and sustainable dishes. I stopped by this evening to try the new Taco menu with housemade tortillas. They had the chicken and carrot tacos and they may have been my all time favorites. You definitely want to check them out on Taco Tuesdays!

The bartender wouldn’t let me order a beer at the bar, told me to sit down at a table and someone would take my order. 15 minutes of sitting around later, the bartender himself comes outside and takes my order. 10 minutes later I get my beer. 20 minutes later I have to flag someone down to even pay for it. They were not busy, not at all.

This classic NW location has seen many businesses that I have loved. I'm interested to see what's next here because Bantam Tavern is so boring.

Second time in meet this beautiful bartender who makes leather bags. Sarah made my night. Sometimes it the drinks that bring you back. This time it was grade A EMPLOYEE. Hats off too Sarah.
