My son and I came in for a special occasion when another favorite French resto was closed and we loved everything about this place. Tiny but really inviting starlit interior and wonderful food, drinks, ambiance. Had the steak frites and we both had oysters and bubbly beverages to toast our success.
Was in town for work and looked for a place to go and get Oysters and my on my am I glad I stumbled upon Bar Avignon. I was able to make a reservation for four only through Resy which was very helpful. We arrived at the restaurant and were sat at a table in the back that was a communal table. This was fine as the other half of the party left soon after we ordered our first round of food. Off the bat I was excited - the ambiance of the restaurant was great. We have loved this place almost from the day it opened. So many family celebrations; so many celebrations with friends. The service, food, and more food make it the perfect place to gather. I will always love BA.
