Bar Carlo has us going out for brunch again! We had stopped going to brunch for many years because well, we can make some bomb breakfast at home. BUT! My friend recently brought me again after a decade and I was reminded how amazingly delicious it is! Now my wife and I go whenever we want to treat ourselves to a cute brunch date. I think we found our new favorite SE Portland brunch spot. I liked the self serve Italian roasted coffee area while you wait for your table. The entire menu looked delicious but my stomach is only so big! The pineapple flan was a nice surprise as I've never had that before. Treat yourself to brunch and a cocktail and have a great time.

Let's talk about what matters in a restaurant experience.

Quality? Top notch, each plate was devoured by my group.
Service? In today's day and age, especially around PDX, service typically lacks... But not here. We felt like we were being personally taken care of and it felt authentic instead of fake.
Atmosphere/Vibe? Great people, great conversation and a warm welcoming smile as well.

Highly recommend.
