Bar Carlo is phenomenal. They accommodated our large group of 14 and the service was amazing. The food was really divine. The Monte Carlo, the Benedict, the Elote Hash, the French toast and all the food was all delicious and beautifully done. The ambiance is so cozy. The lighting is lovely and it feels like a very comfortable space. Prices are good and reasonable. I wish I could eat there everyday.

Bar Carlo has us going out for brunch again! We had stopped going to brunch for many years because well, we can make some bomb breakfast at home. BUT! My friend recently brought me again after a decade and I was reminded how amazingly delicious it is! Now my wife and I go whenever we want to treat ourselves to a cute brunch date. I think we found our new favorite SE Portland brunch spot. I liked the self serve Italian roasted coffee area while you wait for your table. The entire menu looked delicious but my stomach is only so big! The pineapple flan was a nice surprise as I've never had that before. Treat yourself to brunch and a cocktail and have a great time.
