I gave Bar Maven another try to see if things have improved since my last visit a couple years ago.
A few things definitely have improved! The layout is more cozy, the bartenders are more friendly, and it's attracting a really nice crowd from all walks of life. It also seems cleaner than it used to be.
We went on a Friday happy hour this time. The bartender was friendly, the beer and vibe was great! The only thing that seemed like it needed some improvement was keeping up with food orders, and checking in on guests a little more.
There was a mistake with our order and we appreciate that the owner came out and talked to us.
I think Bar Maven is an important little spot in our community, and is very close to becoming a great bar. We'll be back!

A favorite spot for late night happy hour bites. The cauliflower is my go to favorite! And the recent outdoor pool table in the back is awesome! 10/10

Came for late night happy hour. Bartender was great. Ordered a smash burger and fries and took about 45 minutes. Food came cold unfortunately. Wouldn’t recommend eating here

I ain’t gon show yall my smacks but I don even eat fries like that but these one’s perfect jus wish I had dip but Otha den that 10/10 will go again every happy hour Monday when I ain’t have time to eat all day Frfr plus won money on the gambling but had I known pool was a option that’s my personal preference but yall do as u choose an tip consciously ya feel me ?
Got the maven burger, caramelized onions too sweet. Service is QR code based and took a long time. Wouldn't go again. Friends were incredible though.

The most uncomfortable dinner I’ve had, Food was cold, they were out of a lot of stuff and late to open, service was bad, and with all that we were sitting at the bar! And it seemed like a manager or an owner or something walked in and started calling the employees bad names and started cussing them it was so bad! I almost told that person to stop abusing his employees like that!

I love bar maven food is awesome. Sunday happy hour all day on food. Check it out.
Parking: When the bodega closes down, you can park in their lot right. Next door offers about 15-18 spots or so, also there is street parking right up front.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible seating inside and out. Didn't use their restroom facilities. So I'm unsure if those were also easily accessible.
