Pre covid this was a Sunday night fave. Two years later and we’re back. They remodeled the bar and created a nice outdoor seating area. Everything was fabulous. Service, food, and atmosphere. We’re glad to be back.
We came during happy hour and had the mushroom bruschetta, salad and spaghetti bolognese from the happy hour menu.
Come back and give them your business.

Both my partner and I found unique and appealing dinner choices to enjoy. The octopus salad was unique and well presented on fresh greens and other vegetables. The octopus was very tender and delicious! We will definitely return in the near future.
We had tagliatelle and lasagna , Caesar salad and the lamb meatballs. Everything is always fabulous and the staff are tremendous. We have a handful of go to restaurants and this will always be one of our favorites. Thanks for being there.
Just as I remembered - hasn't been back to Portland in 3 years - this was our favorite restaurant and now o ever why - food was excellent and generous portions - service was very good - can't wait to go back
Food is as less than meh. We sat outside, there was an abundance of homeless, drugs and questionable smells. The service however was the only saving grace, the servers were amazing.
Everything amazing fantastic

Outstanding meal last night, with great wines, food and service. Jeremy was delightful, and helpful with choices. The lasagna and tagliatelle pasts dishes were super. Thanks, Mingo!
Our entire dinner experience was lovely, but the food and service were especially noteworthy. Tate was an excellent server, and she brought our various courses with just the right timing to have a relaxing dinner within 90 minutes. Thank you, Tate, and we look forward to returning to Bar Mingo in the future.
What a wonderful night out with friends. Bar Mingo has a great atmosphere. We started at the bar enjoying house bread and a few glasses of wine while we waited for our table. The staff was super amazing and we never wanted for anything. The food speaks for itself. Just look at these photos. The lasagna was out of this world and I guess Wednesday are is Risotto night.I went home very satisfied

We absolutely love this restaurant. Since Covid, so many restaurants didn't sustain the ability to stay open. This is one of our favorites. The ravioli was delicious. Always welcoming and fun. Thank you, Kate

We are long time patrons of Barba Mingo but this visit was far off the mark. The service was extremely slow; we waiting 15 minutes before a waiter came by to take our drink orders. The restaurant was not very busy but the server was occupied chatting with other servers and paid little to no attention to our table. The food was good, not great. It seemed to us the portions were smaller than we remembered. Overall the dining experience was just “fair” due to the less than appropriate service. All tables were not treated the same.
The food was very unique! I really like this place. It is in the Pearl district so parking is a little tricky. It is pretty packed so reservations are a must! The service was great, the food was amazing! I would come back again for sure! Highly recommend for special events or casual dining as the food is reasonably priced yet high quality!
They were quite pushy in trying to get the table to order more drinks & food. It felt like being at a restaurant with Sales People, and the constant interruption was honestly uncomfortable for two people on a first date.
This is one of those reliable, reasonably priced, delightful places to dine. Service was the best. Recommendations were appreciated with spot on wine pairings. The cacio pepe was delicious!! As was the rock fish & broccolini. I enjoy the mushroom bruschetta every time. It is my favorite. Aria gin Martini was perfect. All desserts were great. We tried 4. The pot de cream really shown. Only negative was the bread. Maybe stale. Or maybe just not the best. Hard with little flavor. But otherwise, wonderful!!
Great service, setting, and food. Lasagna was spectacular. Just gotta keep the bread coming, especially when something is saucy. At times I felt they would bus the table a bit early (still was currently using bread to soak up the sauce and a hand pops in asking if I was done.....ahhhh no, clearly using it). Food tho (and I'm not a pasta person however I am a barba mingo person
