Great bar. Great food. Nice chill place to sit and eat. I just landed in Portland and happy to start my visit here.

Guy Bartender with long blonde hair was too drunk to serve us and caught an attitude when we asked for two Coors light and two gin and tonics. The order was too complicated for him and he refused to serve us and kick us out. As a fellow bartender this is unacceptable 👎🏽

Tiani and Allison are two of my absolute favorite bartenders/baristas in town. I will always come here for my morning coffee/hair of the dog!
Also, in general, the bartenders here rock. The ownership involvement is obvious, and they’re super friendly too. The food menu is vast and impressive. Bare bones is the by far best bar on Belmont.
Stiff drinks, good pinball, trivia night, pretty good food. The bartenders are much friendlier at night it seems, I miss Lance S!! Best Halloween decorations on the whole street.

I LOVED this bar, it used to be my go to stop specifically for the sun dried tomato sammy, I think it had mushrooms. I went here for my birthday last year just to have it. I love veggies and they really set themselves apart from every other late night bar in Portland. They don’t have a fryer and I love that. I also used to love their Orzo but they stopped serving that too. I can get over that, still bummed though. I went to get it again a few months back and they removed it from the menu. Now when my husband asks if I want to go here, I say no because it’s sorta like every other run of the mill bar. I can just go somewhere closer. I miss it so much and am extremely disappointed they removed it.
Other than that.. I do love their food and breakfast is always amazing. Please for the love of god bring back that sandwich (or give me the ingredients). I’m removing a star because my heart has been broken.

It’s so hot inside. They have some outdoor seating on the sidewalk as well. I purchased a slushie drink and it was actually quite awful. I was quite disappointed.

I love this place. Wonderful staff, amazing burgers, never disappoints!
Walked in and walked right out. More of a bar than cafe. Didn't even get noticed, walked up to the bar and was ignored. There are too many other places in Portland to eat, have coffee or a beer. Not on my list to return.
It was exceptionally good. We had the 2 eggs bacon with hash brown patties and toast.

People here are always friendly and the vibe is cool. Fun bar to play pool or pinball and hang out.
Excellent drinks and atmosphere
Food was fine—just basic bar food. But the service? Unwelcoming. I get that it was St. Patrick’s Day, but as a bar, you’d think they’d be prepared. The bartenders were rude as heck, making us want to eat and leave ASAP.
Worst part? When my friend closed her tab, the (not-a-girls-girl) bartender acted like her card vanished—spoiler: it was right there. Staff was also loudly trash-talking St. Paddy’s crowds.
Plenty of better spots nearby with good food, service, and vibes. Wouldn’t recommend this place if my life depended on it.
Was looking forward to Bare Bones, it seems like this is a regulars only type of place, rude service and okay food. It just didn’t feel like a very accepting environment with how the staff was so freely talking to customers about how they felt about others in the establishment. I usually don’t give bad reviews but I would recommend going to any of the other bars nearby.
Really expensive for drinks that were LEGIT TERRIBLE. 😭 not mixed well, zero balance. My biggest issue was the female bar tenders attitude, my friends complained about her before I did. It was not until the end of the night, when I tried to close my tab and get my card back, she said I was lying that they had it and told me to check my wallet. Obviously I did and it was not there. Then she just FOUND it after I checked and proved it wasn't in there. No apologies either, just made to feel like an asshole for trying to pay my tab. I would just stay away from this bar. 🙃 Nothing special, terrible mixed drinks, terrible bar tender attitudes.
