This review isn't even about the food but they have some ridiculous arbitrary rule that they can't just sell a can of beer togo. I had finished eating my food from a seperate place and went up to this counter because they happened to have one of my favorite cans, "Hi, I just want to buy a can of beer to go." Employee asks another employee "can we sell beer to go?" He said no. I asked "They are in a can right? I can't just buy a can and take it home?" Employee said "Well we would have to crack them open."
Ok but why? Is this a law or just some arbitrary reason they decided? Restaurants sold cocktails togo during covid so If this is a legit law, they should explain that.
Edit: Just realizing, is it because of homeless people? They don't want to sell beer to homeless people who might hang around? I was wearing sweatpants/shirt so maybe they thought I was a homeless person? Well, homeless people aren't buying specialty beer lol.

No idea what happened, I’ve had great sandwiches at basilisk, but this time around it did not hit at all, not to mention the spicy chicken really isn’t spicy at all. So much breading this time around. And no kool aid soft serve to add salt to the wound

Got the chicken sandwich with hot sauce on the side, along with the Dan Dan fries. Both are top tier, and their hot sauce was a perfect condiment. Portion sizes are generous, split this with my partner and we were both well satisfied - a great value. The first bite of the sandwich is enough to let you know you made a very good decision.

First time there. Will not be my last. Order the chicken sandwich with heat. So yummy! Secret cheat code...order another before you leave so you can have another one later! Seriously! Anyway. Thumbs up and also if your friends are not into chicken it part of a shared space.so you can get pizza, tight tacos, banh mi, etc. Go there and enjoy some food!

Limited options but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t good, it’s delicious and filling, fries are definitely worth the extra cost
Mid. From the service to the food. I have eaten here before and had better service and food. This time the dan dan fries were soooo salty as was the person working the counter. Bummer.

The food looks a lot better than it tastes. As loaded as the sandwich looks, I didn't get a single piece of juicy chicken on the whole thing. The batter to chicken ratio is off, not enough seasoning, and pickles aren't great and don't bring enough acid to the sandwich. I see lots of comments about the value of the sandwich, but a Popeye's chicken sandwich both taste better and it's cheaper.
