During our recent visit to a charming wine tasting venue nestled near Portland's Pearl District, my companions and I opted to deviate from the customary wine tasting experience and instead splurged on a bottle of wine. Regrettably, our evening was marred by an unforeseen incident. Upon receiving the bill, we discovered that we were charged double the price advertised on the menu for the bottle of wine we had selected. Despite bringing this discrepancy to the attention of our server and highlighting that the menu clearly specified a price of $24, we were presented with a bill totaling $50. It is imperative that fellow patrons exercise caution and meticulously scrutinize their bills to avert similar discrepancies. In an unexpected turn, a tip was also solicited. However, following some clarification, the matter was rectified, and the discrepancy was promptly resolved.

I visited Battle Creek for a walk-in tasting on my recent trip to Portland (recommended to me by Erath, a few blocks away). My experience and the wine were both lovely, and I wish I’d had room to take a few bottles home in my suitcase!
We love being a part of the winery! Always walking in to friendly faces that remember our names and favorite wines. The wine is delicious, try the Reserve Pinot Noir!

I always have a great time here. Excellent atmosphere, accommodating staff, and delectable wine.
Great service, great selection. My new place to unwind. A must if you live in the Pearl.
My favorite urban winery by far. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The membership can’t be beat in what is included: A glass or flight for you and up to 3 guests every day! In addition to the allotment you choose. They recently updated their food offerings as well which are excellent. I dropped other wine memberships because you get so much value out of not just the wine, but the community that they have so intentionally curated. My home away from home when I want to relax and read a book, or a great start to a night out with so many restaurants just footsteps away.

Great tasting room near the Pearl District in Portland, OR. Wednesday evening Jazz Happy Hour with great wines and food options. Come visit for a relaxing evening!
Very, very good deal on happy hour. $10 glass of their reserve Pinot Noir. Great bouquet, vintage was medium color and more complex.
Jenny & Battle Creek put on an incredible event for our graduating medical school class. From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, timely, and communicated clearly. In particular, our budgeting constraints provided many different issues, to which Jenny and Battle Creek were very flexible. I would strongly recommend anyone plan an event through Battle Creek.. the wine is really good, too.
Great Pearl District location and nice wines! Definitely worth a stop.
Great place for holding corporate events. And oh - god wine :)
