We gave Bee’s Custom Cakes a few designs we had in mind, but never could have dreamt having this vintage, colorful, funky delicious cake at our wedding. Such a sweet shop! Very welcoming and the decor is so cute and inviting. Along with making custom cakes, they make pastries, coffee, and individual treats. I had the hardest time choosing but settled on a peanut butter pretzel cupcake which had amazing flavor but was a bit dry, though it was the end of a hot day so maybe that was why. But I looooved the cake scrap boxes they sell! Definitely recommend checking this spot out for great vibes and baked goodies.

I'll admit, I have never ordered a custom cake before and was unaware of how much one could cost, but after seeing and TASTING the results, it is beyond worth it. Not to mention the absolute ear to ear smile I got to see on my gorgeous fiancée's face when she looked inside the box. I will definitely always recommend this bakery in the future, as well as be sure to order again for my own custom cake needs (especially with my wedding coming in the next year). I was very excited for this cake. The outside looked beautiful and exactly what I had in mind, however, the cake itself was dense and not moist and the filling didn’t match the flavor (at the baker’s suggestion). I wish I had asked more details about the cake. We even took it out of the refrigerator 45ish minutes prior to cutting to ensure it would be moist and delicious. Overall, great design but the baking wasn’t there for us - we even looked at the leftovers and said “nah, not worth it”…. Won’t be returning for next year. Not sure if it was an “off day” because the other reviews are great which is why I picked this place ~40 min from my house.
