Just wasn’t worth the stop.
We’ve been driving past Beez for many years and wondering about it. I’ve never heard anyone really talk about it so we thought we’d give it a shot and see for ourselves. We split a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and I hate to say, really didn’t care for it much. We love the way Tom’s Restaurant makes theirs and this one had good breading but the meat had a lot of gristle, the gravy wasn’t great and the hash browns were just blah. They tasted too much like the grill and were shredded too finely to really clump together for a good bite. Sad.
My son got biscuits and gravy (his favorite diner food) but when he saw the color of the gravy he knew he wasn’t going to like it much. And that was the case! It was kind of a country white sausage gravy meets brown gravy blend. And it just wasn’t that great. The biscuits were not crumbly like homemade ones usually are but more like grilled lil buns. Not recommended.
The service was excellent! Fun atmosphere with lots of Betty Boop paraphernalia and comfortable booth seating. But, I don’t think we are gonna head back for the food.

Neat and clean with neighborhood style friendly service plus flexible choices of clean, quality food at a fair price makes this place a winning combination.
Fun and nostalgic place. GREAT breakfast!

The Betty boop decor was the best thing about this place. Bisquick biscuits and pancakes were downright inedible. The waitress was lovely, but I wont be back.😑

I live close to here so i wanted to see what the hype was about so I walked in i stood at the front behind the "wait here" sign waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant the waitress was cleaning a table she never acknowledged me or said anything I waited about 5 min and walked right back out they will never get a dime of my money

Usually, this is a favorite spot to go, but today was different. We met friends for brunch at 11, and I ordered a chocolate malt and a side of hashbrowns. The waitress made a comment about my "healthy breakfast" that felt shaming. I explained to her how I had my breakfast hours ago, but the whole interaction was unnecessary and just made me feel uncomfortable.

Nothing on the website, the door, or anywhere else in the neighborhood says “hey if you walk in at 1:30, and sit for 10 min, we will come out and inform you that we will NOT serve you because we turn off our grill at 1:45pm bc we close at 2” so I’ll just keep thanking PSB for actually serving up until 2pm. No worries. You can keep this hole in the wall.

My milkshake was good except for the piece of ham I found in it…
Vegetarian options: I mean, I would’ve thought a milkshake would be vegetarian
