A true Portland classic! Unpretentious, divey, best prices on Belmont. Gets pretty crowded on weekends but the bartenders always bust it out!

Classic bar environment with standard bar food. Just what you need after a long day, a beer and a burger

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill over the years. The food is not good, the service is ok. People aren't as nice as they used to be. I guess it's more for people who are stuck up but want to look and act as if they are poor or more urban.

This place is okay. The issue I have is they threw away my full beer when I went to the bathroom for five minutes. Bar tender dude was unapologetic about it, and didn't offer me another. Also the blonde bartender chick kept skipping songs that we paid for on touch tunes. That's ridiculous, spend money on songs to just have them skipped, not cool.

A good neighborhood dive bar. Two pool tables. Some pinball machines. Reasonable prices on drinks and food. I had chicken tacos that came with good salsa and homemade pickled onions. I also had fries and tater tots which were good. The bar is not noisy. Some atmospheric music, the sound of pool balls being hit, happy conversations, and the whirr of pinball.

Wow, never going there again. I'm in the service industry and sometimes want to sit at a bar and get poured a drink. This bartender ignored me sitting at the bar. I first thought it was because he was busy and I waited patiently for him to come and ask what I wanted to drink. (You know, bartender stuff). He served a few people that came up to the spot that you order from if you're sitting at a table but it became very clear that he wasn't going to come to me to take my drink order (again, I was sitting at the bar) when he pulled out his phone and hunched over by the register. So I got up, walked the 2 ft to him and ordered my beer. There were two people, including myself sitting at the bar and maybe a dozen people in the whole bar. This is Portland, lots of dives to choose from. I'll go somewhere else.

Spacious bar with a couple of pool tables and games. Good service. It's chill, a bit divey. I enjoyed my time there.

The crispy chicken in my Caesar salad was BOMB and it’s a great deal. Also, I’m not vegan, but my friend is, and she had many options for both vegan food and cocktails (especially seasonal ones that used oat milk!). Bar food otherwise as expected, but I love bar food and was pleased.

This is the Dive bar you want to be at. Inflation prices haven’t got to this gem yet and I’m personally hoping it stays that way. Wide open spaces yet it still feels cozy and homely. What more can you ask for? 9.5/10 for everything, unfortunately it gets -.5 for feeling like an earthquake every time the bands next door strike up. Other than that, if you’re on Belmont and you are looking for a place that takes you back to some good ole days, Belmont Inn is it.

Bouncer was on an absolutely insane power trip and lost about 10 customers in my party by denying to acknowledge my absolutely valid out of state 26 year old ID claiming it was fake. Maybe hire someone who has some knowledge that other states exist. He was incredibly rude and belittling. Would never encourage anyone to come here, at least not while this man is working.

I broke when I saw a bad review?. Belmont Inn is awesome. The food is amazing, all the staff are respectful and most of all the time I've stopped in, everyone customer wise has been the same. Rock on.
