More like traditional NY bagels. Chewy crust, classic texture and not like the supersized bland kind you often encounter these days, even around NY, NJ.

I moved here from NYC and have tried a number of highly rated bagel places in Portland and so far this is the ONLY one I’d go back to

We love Bentleys bagels! They have good bagels and coffee and their staff is always so friendly and nice.

Also our dogs love the dog bagels.

Got a bagel sandwich and it triggered my eating disorder because I wished I had never eaten it. I’ve never experienced such deep food regret before. These are the worst bagels i’ve ever had. Dry dry dry DRY to the point that the ingredients all slipped off the bagel. The coffee was really yummy and the staff is really cool and sweet.
It sucks that the baker can’t do chemistry.

Great spot, made fresh!

Bagel quality was very good if a bit small for my liking. Service wasn't very friendly/welcoming but it was early in the morning.

Didn’t even get to try the bagels. Walked in and saw the prices were pretty high, and then we saw the bagels, noticed how small they were, and were like wow yeah that’s expensive for a tiny bagel. Started to order anyways and the man said it would take 15 minutes for an egg and cheese. Went to Higgins instead. Sorry for writing a review without even trying the bagels but coming from nyc we were disappointed :/

Might be the best bagel shop in Portland. The bagels are sooo good and have that perfect texture!
