Yakasoba was lame! Over priced crap. Barely any chicken. Flavor tasted like cabbage only, very plain. Don't recommend at all.

I’ll admit that when I walked in I was not exactly encouraged by its style. But what Bentoz may lack it decoration it makes up for in the quality of its food. My 3 other family members had the chicken teriyaki and I had the bibimbap myself and it was really good. So good that on the first bite I literally said “Wow, this is really good” in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely recommend for anyone who happens to be staying/visiting in the area

As I write this at 50yo I have been coming here since High School(Wilson class of ‘92). The Chicken Teriyaki is my favorite in Portland. The rice is always cooked to perfection. I would give 5 stars to the “atmosphere” if they had A/C in the Summer months However since I usually order “to go”…they may have A/C now & I am just unaware

Very good, but blasts conservative right wing propagandists Lars larson on radio, so won't return.
Visit this place for Teriyaki. Good customer service and I didn't expect Food to taste like this....

Best Bento on the West side of town. The ladies who run it are really nice as well.

Small little shop, some of the best babimbap and chicken teriyaki I can get within 20 minutes of where I live. The staff is always friendly.

It's fine, but $16 for basic beef with sweet sauce and rice is ridiculous. For that price you can get a delicious meal with several types of meat in a wonderful broth with an egg, pork belly and noodles at a hundred other places for the same price. It's a $9 meal. Maybe.
Not bad.
This place you can get a quality bento. Portions little small (maybe just when I came). Veggies meh and rice was just ok but the chicken was the star.Definitely mom and pop with the Christian quote from Samuel in Korean. Good extended menu with more than most teriyaki. Curry chicken and Bibimbap being the high point on the menu for sure. Offering kimchi and some other cold sides would really elevate the place but perhaps normal clients did not ask.Definitely worth stopping in.
Parking: Shared parking lot some time easy sometimes not

I've been coming here for years; they make what I think is the best spicy teriyaki chicken in Portland. Most places just dump hot sauce in their teriyaki, but not Bentoz. They have a separate recipe for their spicy chicken with its own distinct flavors. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Parking: They offer free parking, but the lot is small and busy around lunch hour.
