I came to check out Besaw's For brunch and I was a little disappointed. The food was OK In my opinion. I had heard really good things about this place so I was expecting it to be a lot better than it was. We ordered the Chilaquiles and the chicken and waffles. As for the service, it was below average nothing to rave about. This is one of those places that you come once and you never come back again.

Nice place to eat. My stepson picked it. We were seated fast. Food came out even faster. I had the chicken and waffle. The chicken was a little dark due to the breading, but moist inside. The waffle wasn't as hot as the chicken, made me think they may have them made already. Overall, the place was nice. I know my wife enjoyed her peach pancake. Obviously canned peaches. I'm new to Portland. In my past, I was a chef. When you use fresh products, the quality of the food is much better.

It has been a long time since I last visited this restaurant and wow, it’s so much nicer than I remembered. Lovely tastefully appointed dining room with a center bar area; rich dark wood and tasteful seating.
Mouhamed let us take a cozy booth, even though technically there were more places set than just the two of us warranted. Mouhamed E was SUPER helpful and nice to us. (I apologize if I am spelling his name incorrectly )
My chicken fajitas omelette was divine; packed with flavor. My friend had the Winter Hash, which unlike a lot of versions of this dish, where it is made up of all the extra bits of food with some potatoes pieces, this was all freshly seared colorful peppers, potatoes and some kale and onions etc, sour cream etc, done brilliantly! We never felt rushed out at the end of our meal, and had a truly lovely late brunch together. Thanks Mouhammed!❤️ I Will definitely return!

Went for brunch and tried both their crab Benedict and seasonal squash Benedict. I preferred the seasonal squash Benedict, which I would definitely get again! The outdoor seating on a sunny Sunday morning was ????. Our server was also super nice and had great other recommendations for being new to the city.
Mohamed was our server for our table of 9 friends.He remembered everyone’s orders, and when we re-ordered a second round of cocktails, he had them delivered within a few minutes. Thank you, Mohamed!
