Besaws! I heard a lot about it. We ordered the Egg Benedict’s the eggs are good. But the potatoes on the side were horrible over fried and looked like chicharron (pig belly fried) lol!! If the potatoes were good I would give it a 5 star rating but I think the hype is too much. Maybe I need to try something else.

We stopped by around 11am on a Sunday, it was pretty busy but we were seated at the bar almost immediately. We ordered the breakfast burrito, breakfast plate, and a side of French toast to share. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was wonderful, great service from the bartender, we'll definitely be back!

My waiter Mouhamed gave me excellent service for my first time at the restaurant. I drove all the way in 90 degree weather without AC. He didn't smile, but he didn't need to. His confidence, his kindness and the delicious OMELETTE SPECIAL WITH A SIDE OF BLACK FOREST BACON was all I needed after driving an hour and ten minutes in traffic.
I will bring my pudgy wife next time. I'm glad they served brunch so late on a Sunday.
I asked for lemons, in my soda water and they gave me limes instead, but it was delicious and so I will order limes from now on.
This place had a few beautiful young women customers as well.
Great vibe good food good music.

Atmosphere was great, sat by large open window with an urban view, avocado toast with egg and potatoes was good, the Summer in Greek chicken wrap was a disappointment. Large wrap with minimal filling, mine was lacking in feta, tzatziki and chicken. This hopefully was an error on quality control as Besaws food is usually very good.

If I were working in this kitchen. I would be embarrassed to send out this meal. I ordered the seasonal veggie Benedict and it was ridiculous. It was a poached egg with a slice of tomato. It's advertised as a seasonal veggie Benedict and all it came with was a sad slice of tomato. The poached eggs were cold. The only good thing were the crispy hash browns. Somebody's not paying attention to what's coming out of the kitchen.

One of the best brunch spots I’ve been to in a while!
The veggie hash was bursting with flavor — crispy potatoes, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked eggs on top. The Bloody Mary hit just the right balance of spice and tang, and the hot sauce options on the table were a nice touch for customizing the heat level. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were welcoming and attentive.
Thank you Hulda for delicious dessert and thank you MO for explaining the menu- we will be back again!

Underwhelming and disappointing. Waited for out order for an hour. The place wasn’t busy at all. Once the food came things just got worse. Overcooked eggs on the shakshuka, bland ancient grains bowls, average crab benedict. Also, what kind of brunch place doesn’t have a fresh-squeezed orange juice?

Slow service,
Waited for food for over an hour during Monday brunch.
Side substitute was extra. This usually applies to fine dining, which Besaw is definitely not.
Food quality is really bad.
Do not recommend.

Lovely staff. I was thinking this was the old Besaw’s from the 90’s (I was mistaken). I had the crab Benedict which was a fried crab cake. Good flavor but I wouldn’t order the dish again. The potatoes were heavily fried and I didn’t eat those. My friend enjoyed they’re avacado toast. The mimosas were decent but not very bubbly.
Food & drink 2 stars.
Absolutely lovely wait staff and I got to meet the owner’s mother who was up visiting. She gave my friend and I a piece of falafel which she said she’d like to get on the menu. She was lovely sweet and charming.
Our server was absolutely so kind she provided exceptional service. Not sure if I’ll be back as I’ve got so many favorite dining spots in town!
Lovely space and easy to park on the street which is metered.

I came to check out Besaw's For brunch and I was a little disappointed. The food was OK In my opinion. I had heard really good things about this place so I was expecting it to be a lot better than it was. We ordered the Chilaquiles and the chicken and waffles. As for the service, it was below average nothing to rave about. This is one of those places that you come once and you never come back again.

I came here for brunch and very much enjoyed myself. The service was great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was even better, and I loved the old school music that was playing. Id definitely come again!

Nice place to eat. My stepson picked it. We were seated fast. Food came out even faster. I had the chicken and waffle. The chicken was a little dark due to the breading, but moist inside. The waffle wasn't as hot as the chicken, made me think they may have them made already. Overall, the place was nice. I know my wife enjoyed her peach pancake. Obviously canned peaches. I'm new to Portland. In my past, I was a chef. When you use fresh products, the quality of the food is much better.
