I often travel alone across the country and around the world, and as I get older, one of the most difficult things is to find a hospital place for an elderly gentleman to have a drink. I came across Beulahland bar by chance and it was a delight. It is a quirky unpretentious and very hospitable place with very good local IPAs a friendly mix of clientele, and some of the best bar staff on the planet. Heather and Omar made me feel like I was family As did Jonathan(?) At the door. When was the last time you walked into a bar for a couple of beers and then had to hug the staff before you left? Stopped by Beulahland Bar and had a great time. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Heather behind the bar — she was awesome and made us feel right at home. The vibe is unique and interesting, giving the place a lot of character. Could maybe use a few more air fresheners, but overall I really liked it and would definitely come back.

Went for a soccer match so it was very busy, but they know that it's going to be that busy every weekend and they didn't seem to really staff up for it or have an efficient system in place.
The food was pretty terrible and it took over and hour from ordering to get it. I had a breakfast burrito, and it was vile, overcooked eggs, and what tasted and looksled like day old french fries instead of freshly cooked potatoes. The beans were clearly just a can opened and dumped in. I felt like it was prepared by a child.
My partner had a biscuit and jam with side of bacon and got tummy issues afterwards.
I would say if you want to try it, either be an Arsenal supporters or go on a non match day, because I think the atmosphere is ok, and you might not have such a let down.

Decided to check this place out for burger week, the burger was amazing but the cocktails were terrible...like toilet bowl cleaner bad and $16 a pop which is the sort of price you pay for high end drinks at a nice cocktail bar. We tried two of the drink specials and they were the worst cocktails we have EVER had, period. The flavor profiles were off and we could tell they were made with cheap vodka and gin. Service was good and like I mentioned, the burger was delicious. If you want good bar food, sure, but I would recommend having a beer on draft or going somewhere else for cocktails.

Wouldn’t let me take a burger to go to give to my wife with Covid. Why say you allow takeout but then deny it when I need to do takeout for a good reason? FYI they only don’t allow the Portland burger week burger as takeout, for some dumb reason.
