I asked to have a leg of lamb cut up. When he weighed it. Weighed a little more than 7lbs. After he cu tit up, it weighed 4.99lbs. He tried to tell me you lose that much during processing. I walked back to the butcher area ( he was pissed) and there was part of the end piece still on the counter behind the blade. Slight of the hand. Buyer Beware. Won’t be back.
Got some goat. It was putrid. Buyer beware!
I bought meat very worst. Bad one. Please people don't buy.. Your health is important.. These guys selling bad one
I have been coming here for so many years and never had a problem. But my last visit at this meat store has left a bad taste in my mouth. I was refused to get what I wanted and instead was offered a substitute. I asked the guy to give me 4 pounds of goat meat and he refused to cut from the goat leg because he was a 7-8 lbs. He kept trying to redirect me to something I didn’t want and I was rather irritated.
Towards the end as I was checking out and leaving he said” next time I will give you whatever you ask for”. This sounds like bad customer service and flat out shady. I am never returning here again.
Worst halal meat quality
Rip off. I asked for 1 lb ground meet, expecting to pay around $6+. The man puts on about 1.6 or 1.7lb. reconfirm with your customer first about the weight. Halal way of handling business?
Yesterday I bought some chicken and we asked hi if they are fresh and he said yes then we asked sine when you processed them he said one day old. When we got back the smell was horrible and very old we have to through them out.
Don’t believe this store and you better look somewhere els for your chicken and meat.
Despite multiple visits, the quality of goat meat consistently falls short, often seeming old and, disappointingly, mixed with lamb. This practice undermines the authenticity and overall experience.
Arrogant staff
I bought meat on a Thursday night and it smells old when I cooked it. I should have not bought it in the first place. The guy cutting the meat didn’t take off his gloves and rang my transaction. While he was cutting meat fee pieces fell on the floor and he just picked it up and put it in the bulk meat he was cutting.

I tried & tried and now i will have to leave a review.I live close to the joint for >6 yrs now, easy to access, kept clean and tidy.I always come get the Goat meat here, i don't like the precut option so I end up getting an entire goat leg (smallest one available)No Matter how many times I mention they always mess up how I want the Nalli (shank asked to be left in longer pieces). This time around i'm particularly disappointed, i got a 4.2 pound one, came home to portion it to 2.there was so much of fat cap left on the meat, i had to put in additional 30 minute effort to trim off the silver skin and the fat cap.I weighed in the fat and the skincap trimmings at 0.81 lbs.Am i getting grifted here for being a patron ?
I went to their store located on NE 162nd Ave on Glisan yesterday and bought several dishes to try them. The food was over cooked and didn't taste good. I purchased bread, and asked the lady who was there is it fresh ?she said .yes.I came home and saw that the bread was rotten. The food was not good and too pricy bad choice never go again.
I brought Chicken and goat. Goat is good after cooking but chicken is not good it smells bad and wierd taste.
