This place was great. Really good service, great pupusas, and tasty horchata. Folks working there were really nice and the restaurant seems like a nice place to sit and eat. We ordered for pickup but looking forward to spending more time there!

Pretty decent spot, I had the Super Burrito and it was quite good. I'd definitely come back.

Ordered the fish burrito. I’m not sure if my experience was just unusually off for them based on other reviews but I gotta be honest.

There was only one other customer and it still took 25 minutes to get our food l. I didn’t see any delivery drivers take food, so it was just oddly slow for a simple order.

The burrito was pretty expensive, and every burrito place makes large burritos, so definitely not justified there. It was really plain, and hardly had sauce.

The server was super nice, but that was about the only highlight.

Love this place!! The Pupusa plates are so good and filling. If you want authentic Salvadoran / Mexican cuisine, Bicho’s is the best place in Portland. The owner is always around and happy to welcome all customers. Highly recommend if you’re a local or even just visiting.

I don't really care for this place. It's way too bright inside, they had the door open to the cold the whole time, and the food is mediocre at best. It's new and very clean and the staff are friendly but the rice, beans and flautas I had were all pretty substandard. I give it 6 months. There are just too many really good Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood.

The food is super solid (get the platinos fritos!), the people are very nice (it's a family operation!), and you don't have to wait an hour (at least for now!). The papusa selection alone makes it worth it!

I'm from California and lived in San Francisco for many years. One of the things that is hard to describe to my Oregonian peers is the mission-style burrito and they would all roll their eyes when I said it was delicious and that nothing was like it. Well, now I can just take them here and they can see for themselves.

I think I cried a little when I bit into the carne asada super burrito.

Thank you for being in the neighborhood. I can't wait to come back and try the pupusas!!!!

Solid pupusas! I’ll come back.

My gentle critique is that the salsa was a little thick, the curtido could use a bit more vinegar, and the restaurant could offer more of both considering the cost of the pupusas. One ramekin was not enough for multiple pupusas.

The pupusas themselves were very good. Large, with filling going to the very edges. And the plátanos plate was fantastic.

Incredible, authentic Salvadorian food! The pupusas are absolutely delicious – some of the best I've had. The restaurant has a clean, simple ambiance with great music that adds to the vibe. The service is warm and friendly. I always look forward to coming back!
