This had to be one of the best dive bars in Portland. Drinks were cheap! The had an amazing patio and a great area upstairs with pinball machines and a pool table. This was the highlight of the night. There is food up and down the street from Billy Rays so you’ve got plenty of food options for when you get hungry. It is a classic dive bar so don’t expect bright lights and fancy drinks. This is definitely a local spot!

Was treated poor on both occasions I was at establishment. Liquor selection is slim and there bartenders have no knowledge of making drinks asked for several (3)different cocktails and instead of looking up or asking they just said no .don't recommend.

Shot n a drink for cheap. Outlaw country on the radio. Unpretentious. Not much more to want

Weird vibes inside 😕 it’s a cash only bar and me and my friends were approached unpleasantly multiple times by people outside and on the walk to and from for cash citing that we were going to a cash only bar. The bar patrons were only male and it just felt weird and off idk. Also it has the same sign as the Vern but the Vern is a way better place.

Awesome longtime standing neighborhood watering hole. I love and appreciate the attitude. Go there as much as possible to play pinball with friends when I get back into Portland.

Great prices, great selection and great patio.

Parking: Street parking available nearby with a short walk to the business.

Kid-friendliness: Please don’t try to bring your kids here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Main level entrance but not much for seating as the space is cozy. Stairs leading to the back patio and to the game area on the second floor.
