Sneakily some of the best baked goods in town. They bake almost everything in house, including the pies. The bran muffin and pretzel bun are personal favorites, and the breakfast sandwich on the pretzel bun is even better.
The pie was great, the coffee was good, the conversation between employees behind the counter about whether or not I should be giving my preteen caffeine was disappointing and uncomfortable. Yes, the parenting choice may be questionable, I was questioning it myself ? but at least wait until we’re out of the building before you blab about your customers “caffeinating their kids”.
Came in the late afternoon to get a pie and was pleasantly surprised that they still had several full sized pies still available at that hour. We got the banana cream and we really liked the filling but the crust was thick and leathery/tough which was a disappointment. It's a cute cafe and the people were nice so giving it a bump up to 4 stars for that. Note: they charge a $2 deposit for the pie tin.
