I can not say enough nice things about Blank Slate. My husband and I have been regulars here ever since we moved to the neighborhood almost six years ago.
They have a great selection of cocktail options, and while we do often revert to our favorite Just Before Dawn , we always like experimenting with their new or seasonal cocktails. The atmosphere is fabulous, with beautiful wallpaper and lush plants hanging from the windows, and it's always fun to sit outside on the patio in the winter with the heaters. Not to mention how wonderful the staff is. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

What a RAD little hidden gem in Montavilla area? I instantly felt like I was swept away into this sweet little vibe of a spot. The music could’ve been a tad bit quieter for talking but they’ve got the nicest decor. Great service and just enough random but super tasty items on the menu to grab some cocktails and share the bites with friends for a wonderful full belly and happy heart of an evening!

Amazing happy hour deals. Met a friend for dozen oysters, pretzel, deviled Eggs, dirty martinis and aperol spritz all on HH menu. Will definitely be back again.

Our classy senior friend introduced us to Blank Slate and we've since enjoyed it several times. It's a smallish spot but also intimate. Quirky decor, in a tasteful way--modern/vintage mix. Love the silent movies and their eclectic vinyl selection. The cocktails are super and the small bites on offer are creative and delicious. The bartender on our last visit was working hard but was also attentive and kindly assisted me in the need for both beverage and meal modifications due to diet restrictions.
Recommended: Deviled eggs, mac and cheese, pigs in a blanket, truffle/parm popcorn, mixed olives.

Absolutely amazing cocktails. The server and the bartender were so nice and the happy hour food offerings were great! $2 oysters on the half shell came out beautifully and tasted great! Definitely a great place to come back to for a date or with a group of friends. Loved it.
