Blue star shining on me. Blue star filling up me. Blue star it's time to eat! I did a quick drop in on the way back from a friend's house. I took bites from the old fashioned, hot chocolate donut and the OG donut. Each donut brings with it an explosion of flavor with texture that melts the sugary goodness on the mouth! Excellent quality pound for pound; bite for bite. The old fashioned has more of a cakey base whereas the OG is fluffier. The improveables would be the price tag. It is pricey.

Arrived here they had a sign that they would be closed for 30min, we walked up and down the street multiple times and finally opened, thought the selection would be bigger. The donuts were good, pricey but good, I wouldn’t say kid friendly my 11 year old didn’t want any of the donuts they had to offer. Very trendy, very clean, friendly service. Worth checking out, but not worth the hype in my opinion.Parking: Had to walk a block for free street parking

Interesting place. The doughnuts are a good concept and different than anything else . Wayyyy better and more creative than voodoo. The coffee however ruined the experience. Wasn't mixed .

Old fashioned buttermilk and apple fritter!! So yummy The fritter has a great hard crust and filled with tender perfectly spiced apples. The buttermilk has a delightful crispy crust and is moist inside and the glaze complements the buttermilk tang. They also have new merch.

My fiance and I just moved to the area from Rhode Island, a week ago. Today I decided to begin seeking out the perfect Portland donut… I didn’t expect to find it on my first stop. The shop was quiet, because I stopped in around 1:30 but they still had a bunch of donuts. I got a half dozen so we could try a wide selection, and let the man behind the counter pick his favorites for us to try. I feel bad because I completely forgot his name, but his choices were AMAZING. The blueberry donut? Chefs kiss. The crunchy maple square? Out of this world. Even the tried and true, original glazed donut was beyond my expectations. We can’t wait to stop in again soon to try some more of these delicious treats. Are they pricey? Sure. Are they worth it? Absolutely. Coming from the east coast, where the best donuts you can buy are from Dunkin Donuts (gross) I’ll gladly pay the premium for these babies.

Not as many options as say Doe, but the flavors they have are very tasty and high quality.

We tried a few different donuts and all were yummy, but the powdered sugar olive oil and orange was the real standout! ?
Hands down consistently the best brioche donuts and flavor mix. Great atmosphere and helpful staff.

It was hard to choose which donut(s) to get! Yes, it’s pricey for a donut but they were delicious! (I think the pumpkin spice and the apple cider fritter were my favorites)

Best donut shop is Portland. The fall flavors are available and I’d recommend the apple fritter the most. You can order the entire gauntlet like I did though Always a place my wife and I bring guests when they visit.
Who doesnt love a donut filled with custard and topped with a hard sugar shell. It’s freakin delicious and fights the tropical cake donut for top spot. Im just glad they arent closer to my house. Forget voodoo, these guys have the best donuts in portland.

Been around, up and down, nothing sounds as good as Blue Star Donuts. Voodoo donuts are overrated. These are the real deal and they taste so fresh with real natural ingredients.
