Found this spot via Instagram and it lives up to the hype. Tons of unique rolls to choose from as well as plenty of non-sushi appetizers and entreés like Udon. The sashimi and tamari (nigiri) was very fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back to try the set courses. Sake list is small but there are options for everyone, ranging from dry to sweet, and they have a good selection of Japanese wiskeys. Our server, Becca, was kind and very helpful for our first time experience. (pictured) bluefin akami, bluefin otoro, and hamachi tamari, Blazer and Salmon Twist rolls.

2nd time here, brought my dad who has a fish allergy knowing we were going to be needy AF and be super annoying. Mya took extremely good care of us, they executed everything perfectly and my father loved his beef and rice bowl. Appetizers were amazing, Sashimi, Nigiri, and Rolls were very high quality. My mom has been eating sushi her whole life and says it is the best she’s ever had. Mya will be our go to server here, we will be back and highly recommend you try this restaurant. Ask for Mya!!

… one of the few sushi restaurants that has a wider selection of fish. Not as extensive as some but better than most in the PDX. Price v value is very good as well. Nigiri ang rolls were very good and well prepared. The hand rolls were mediocre at best. The wait staff was not very accommodating even when not busy. And they did not check on us throughout the meal… I literally had to go to them to order drinks and additional nigiri and rolls. The overall experience was closer to three stars, were it not for the preparation of the nigiri and rolls. The service was definitely sub-par.

I heard a ton about Bluefin Tuna and they're good...4 stars... (however, I worked for a Japanese chef( 5 + STAR) who had his own restaurant and made THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD EVER..So I am a tough customer...)THE PRESENTATION WAS FLAWLESS!!The miso soup was a little bit off. .as was the California roll....(I paid for the real crab)The presentation of all the food was impeccable ....The tea was amazing...the cucumber salad ok...The star was the mixed shrimp and vegetables tempura!!!!So freaking awesome ?Go and give it a shot!!

This is so far my favorite sushi joint in all of Portland. There isn’t a single bad dish here. The quality is A++.I especially recommend the Nagasaki Ramen and the Crispy Rice Tots.

This place can be a bit pricey if you don't get the set meals but the fish quality here is always top notch. I love going here every once in a while and just buying whatever sounds good and it usually is great.

You should definitely make this one of your stops for sushi in Portland. Someone might be surprised to find good sushi in the strip along Broadway, but look no further. Stop in from 4-6 for really great happy hour deals and super fast service! You have to get the one drink minimum. They gave us a small bowl of complimentary edamame. I loved the spicy tots which are crunchy, hot, and filling! Their 4 piece temari is a great little sampler of their fish. The gyoza are good, but nothing special. I could pass on the karagge and the raw oyster next time. The hand roll was not something I would recommend either, too soft. My friends loved the coconut shrimp, but I thought it was just okay. The fire on the mountain roll was really good and worth a try. This place shines on presentation and the nigiri/temari do impress. Each bite melted in our mouths, too. This is the best choice to get. The staff was super friendly and attentive!I will likely be back for more.

Fish is not fresh. I feel bad leaving a bad review, but the salmon is slimy and smells/tastes bad. :(

I've been wanting to try this place since the covid lockdowns. Finally got the opportunity and was not disappointed. The service between courses was a bit fast, but overall, it was awesome food and an awesome experience. Can't wait to go back.
