The sandwiches are hit and miss... The tuna salad is more or less just that, pretty unremarkable, but one of the cold cut sandwiches I got was decent enough, but would try somewhere else instead of going back here.
Got a build-your-own vegan sandwich here and it was huge and delicious. Completely missed seeing the specials board somehow, which had a great vegan sandwich listed, but the whole menu has great options for whatever your diet is (except maybe GF, but they also have salads). The drink selection in the bodega is also awesome, a lot of unique options, and they have UTZ chips (including the dill pickle flavor), which I haven't seen anywhere around here before! Anyways, the sandwiches are bomb, and I will for sure be back.

Iβve been looking for a good deli. And have seen Bodega PDX on my drive home. Decided to try it out and I have to say it. I had the Gabagool and it was one of the best sandwiches Iβve had in the Portland area. There is a couple more sandwiches that I would like to try on there menu

Ordered online (the #2 Waste Management) β delicious! Why'd I wait so long to try this place? Friendly staff too.

Legit Bodega. I grew up in Brooklyn and the whole scene takes me back. The guys working behind the counter and on the grill were super friendly. And, the food is delicious! I got a chopped cheese and the wife the Gabagool. Feels like a tiny wedge of NYC right here in FoPo!π

I hadn't been here for a year, but shrinkflation has definitely hit. My favorite sandwich, the Carmela was a huge disappointment today.
Luckily, My son brought it home to me, where I had plenty of extra cold cuts. I added some salami and mortadella, bringing it back to its former glory.
C'mon guys - just raise the price rather than shrink the meat portions.

I love this places sandwiches but was really taken off guard today when I called to order over the phone (like I have in the past with no issue) when I was questioned about whether online ordering is working. If your not open or available for a phone order for 1 sandwich just say so. Don't question me and go and check if the website is working... I don't understand or get the issue and you made me feel like I wasn't a valued customer so you lost my service and my recommendation to people.
