Super duper tasty, and very healthy feeling. I agree with the prices, and they make vegan eating quite painless. I do wish the tofu bowl had more tofu. it probably totalled about 10g of protein. Not enough for a proper meal IMO.

Steamed buns are always great, their pickles are tasty, rice tots are really good. Ramen was a bit mediocre last time I had it but am curious to try it again.

Fried chicken rice bowl contains chicken, vegetables, cucumbers, kimchi, etc., as well as rice. It is much bigger than the picture, so it is enough to fill you up. It tastes even better when you add the spicy sauce on the table. The menu does not include 3% CAT, and the actual price is calculated with it.

Cannot rave more about this place then I will. 100000% if you have not gone you are doing yourself a disservice.

You must have the fried chicken buns, heaven! Also comes in a rice bowl, 10/10.

To top it off you must enjoy their miso vanilla Twinkie ... So soft and light and just sweet enough, cloud in the mouth.

Service is fast, staff is awesome, and the atmosphere is portland. Go, run, skip, jump, do it now.

We absolutely loved our experience at Boke Bowl! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, a perfect blend of modern, casual dining with a strong community vibe. The menu offers a creative fusion of East and West, and you can tell a lot of thought went into both the flavors and the presentation.

We ordered the fried chicken bowl and the tuna poke bowl, and both were outstanding. The use of fresh, seasonal vegetables really stood out and added an extra layer of flavor and texture to the dishes. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tuna poke was fresh and beautifully balanced. We highly recommend adding a side of their pickled veggies, they were tangy, vibrant, and paired perfectly with both bowls.

One detail that really impressed us as parents: they provide small water cups for kids along with the silverware. It may seem minor, but thoughtful touches like that make families feel welcome and included.

The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and creativity of the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience.

Overall, Boke Bowl offers something truly special—delicious, thoughtfully prepared food in a relaxed and inclusive setting. We’ll definitely be back and encourage anyone in the area to give it a try!

Love Boke bowl!! Everything is always so fresh and delicious. The portions are great for the price and as a vegan I appreciate the wide variety of options (all of which are great!!). The staff is always very friendly and the food comes out quickly. One of my favorite spots in Portland :)

Good prices and portions. Not big fan of the drinks though (I ordered a hibiscus drink and it was tasteless)

Wonderful customer service. Great food and a cute restaurant. It's very busy but worth the wait.

Crazy good. Crazy cheap.

Makes me proud to live in PDX.

This place is a perfect example of Portland taking food to the next level.

I was just down in San Francisco and paid $70 for a bowl that I would argue tastes worse than heavenly bliss they serve here.

Brussels sprouts. Not a #1 on my list. But this place somehow made them my favorite part of the dish.

I leave this place feeling like I took some supplements. You know that feeling when your body tells you all the vitals are in check.

Yup this place does that.

Arguably the best soup, dumplings, and somehow fried chicken spot on PDX.

You need to go here, it's not a matter of if, but when.

Plan it, do it. You won't be disappointed.

In fact you'll be back for more with friends.

A big disappointment. Overly salted, overly pickled, and sweet pickles aren’t my thing. The poke bowl was some type of fusion bowl and the chicken bowl was mostly white rice and pickled veggies. Also I don’t like bamboo.

Great food with lots of options for people who have allergies.

All around great spot

Was super impressed by how delicious the food was and how quick the service was as well. I split a bowl of ramen and 4 steam buns and everyone else in my group was equally impressed with their food. Will definitely come back!
