The restaurant was understaffed as it took a long time to get our menus and water. The waiter was pleasant but very busy. My Bolognese was bleh, some noodles were clumped and stuck together and there was not any sauce, just ground meat mixed in which was bland. My friend enjoyed her salmon but was told it doesn't come with potatoes, although the menu says it does. She got them but after insisting. Very weird! The atmosphere was quite loud with TV's. Not a relaxing place. Try somewhere else!

It’s not mind blowing but it’s not bad. It’s overpriced but it gets the job done. The bar isn’t fancy but it’s usually a positive experience.

Mmmww

Some of the rudest people ever have encountered concerned only with over charging me for disgusting food and then trying to argue with me on my order and then was EXPECTING.....let me help you night staff your guys stop hiring all guys and having no woman on staff. Stop being PREGNANT ESPECIALLY AT A COMPLETELY MEDIOCRE PLACE AND ESPECIALLY QUIT BEING RUDE AND THEN AGAIN THINKING....AS IN THINKING SOMEONES GOING TO LEAVE EXTRA MONEY FOR YOU

Skip this place for breakfast. Poor, slow service by unhappy wait staff. The overpriced eggs benedict with salmon was horrible. Small dollop of tasteless hollandaise sauce on a bed of eggs and very salty salmon on a bagel. I didn't think a restaurant could screw up this simple breakfast dish, but Boxwood sure did.

Everything is over priced cos it's in a hotel and Google doesn't tell you that when you look it up. Bs $40 bucks for 1 and a half of deviled eggs a salad and one juice. Absolutely ridiculous. avoid avoid avoid.

The food is passable at best, seasoning definitely isn't their thing. Walked in about 50 mins before they closed, got our order taken and that was about the extent of our service for the meal. Was never asked how anything was or if we needed more drinks etc. Just walk to fast food, it won't be over $100.

I had a mixed experience at Boxwood Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but I felt the prices were a bit high. What I ordered was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The server was very friendly and helpful, and she made sure that our drinks were always full. However, I felt that the prices were a bit steep. Overall, I had a good experience, but I would have liked the prices to be a bit lower.
