This last sunday I came in early in the morning and had a great experience. This kid working at the register was extremely helpful and gave me a great recommendation of the Burside Turkey sandwich. Overall great customer service I believe his name was Rowan but could be mistaken. Would come again!

First time eating at this place. So disappointing. The sandwich I orders first was wrong and was remade they don’t make grilled cheese with any flavor just dry on a griddle and then microwave it to melt the rest of the cheese. Soup from a can microwaved. Then shut off the lights while we were still eating.

Honestly, when i’m ordering a coffee in a open space the least I’d like is a smile and not being treated like they are doing me a favor. Drinks were bad too.

Max was super awesome. We didn't have enough money cause my card got declined and he covered what I couldn't. Reasonable prices.

I am a lover of sandwiches and my wife decided to take me to this place recently. She said they have amazing sandwiches and I was excited to try the club sandwich. We arrived a little before 6pm and we were informed by the staff that they are out of all sandwiches besides grilled cheeses. My wife ended up getting a salad and half a grilled cheese sandwich(she actually wanted a Broadway Veggie) and I was left with nothing as I had no interest in eating any of the other items available. As we sat there, we observed them doing all the closing things you would see a place do. Even covering the trash bin. I do not know if this is normal for this place, but if they stop offering the full menu an hour before close, they might as well close an hour early then. We also observed other prospective customers come and leave because of the limited menu options. I am extremely disappointed in my first, and last, time ever attempting to go to this place. As such, I currently will not be recommending to my other sandwich loving friends to try the food here as it's likely the employees won't even offer it.Update: I did reach out to the store directly and was given excuses as to why they do not offer their full menu after 5pm. Don't go here for dinner.... They did not even attempt to make the situation correct or give me a reason to give this place a second chance. AVOID!

It’s super rude customer service food is disgusting. I never ever tried anywhere else that disgusting food no taste at all, person get off in the bathroom and go make a sandwiches didn’t wash the hands. Nothing that was disgusting. I will never recommend nobody this bakery this bakery disgusting how is the food safety they need a more often keep an eye for this bakery and shut down long time ago.

Vegetarian options: Request a vegetable and receive the pork I have an allergen pork that’s ridiculous. I’m professional customer service.

Dietary restrictions: They’re not asking the allergies for customers they just handle it and customer was allergy walnuts and they don’t care they can kill people that’s ridiculous

Parking: It’s not worth it to purchase anything for this bakery is disgusting booty doesn’t taste good at all. State need to close this business long time ago.

Airport food

A really great low-key, inexpensive, and high-quality food cafe near Pioneer Square. Very good selection of sandwiches and salads. The food was very good. Self-service and lots of seating area.

Never order the grilled cheese - most bland sandwich I’ve ever had in Portland. Careful with the soup as well - they microwave it so hot that you will need to wait 30 minutes before you can try it. Also they do not have condiments- so prepare to have some boring food. Service was great with some friendly people

This place is amazing. They literally just made my day so much better. Staff are friendly and quick, but ELLA goes above and beyond. Thanks for making my lunch break great. Cookies are fantastic and my favorite is the sour dough bread, and I don't even like sour dough bread lol.

Best cookies ever! The barista was also so friendly.
