Cute place that's really popular. We went on a Friday morning around 9:45 and waited for like 35 minutes before seated inside. Inside is cute and cozy with small seating tables and there are outside seating as well for sunny days. Food was yummy, enjoyed the lost eggs, next time we'll like to try the one with the mushrooms!

Super cute environment, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing!!! Would recommend anyone to go! Went 10 minutes after opening and they had a line waiting shortly after.

I visited here during brunch time with my sister and brother for some family quality time. The restaurant is pretty huge and we were on a waitlist. We waited about 15 mins which was not bad at all! They also had a little museum/history room where you can wait and learn about it! The cafe is so beautiful and there was natural lighting beaming inside the cafe which I love. The food was mouth watering and delicious! My favorite was the Benedict's. I also had mimosa and it was so refreshing! I will be coming back to try other dishes for brunch!

Super yummy place to eat and great service. I just hate waiting in long lines to eat. I wouldn't wait in line next time. Portland has many non trendy restaurants to eat at that are delicious and no lines. It's usually crowded and very busy. We waited an hour outside to get a table. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was great!

**April 2024: Monday Late Morning Visit** Fancy IKEA Food! lol Portland, has some really cool food spots and I wanted to add this one to my itinerary. My friend and I visited on Monday morning and found street parking. The area is pretty hipster and funky. There were a couple of people dinning indoors and we sat near the window. After pondering over the menu for a bit we decided on the following items. Lost Eggs ($16) - Soft Baked Eggs, Creamed Spinach, in a cast iron skillet - it was good. We picked the mushroom version, but I agree if that the ham version might give a slightly more saltier taste to it/ Ableskiver ($10) - Danish Pancake Balls with Ligonberry Jam and Lemon Curd - delicious, just as pancake balls should be. Smoked Trout Radicchio Salad ($16) - Winter Radicchio with House Caesar Dressing; maybe this is the least Scandinavian, but I really enjoyed this as I hadn't had much leafy greens on this Pacific North West trip. Overall, my friend and I both enjoyed all the dishes and the three items were a good portion for two hungry travelers. Enjoy!

Such a delightful taste of Scandinavia in Portland! I have taken my family members twice, and Broder is a hit across generations. I highly recommend the Aebelskivere (Danish pancakes) with lemon curd and lingonberry to start (or end!) your meal. The trout Benedict is also incredible, and I need to figure out where to buy the sourdough levain it's served on! The coffee and teas are delightful, as are the atmosphere and staff. I can't wait to try every Broder location -- and item on the menu!

We are big fans of their Broder Söder location, and that's the one we usually go to, but since we were near this one on a Friday at lunch time we decided to give this location try. It's a tiny place, with both seating inside & outside on the covered sidewalk patio, but it's not nearly enough seating for how popular this place is. And they unfortunately don't take reservations, so expect to wait quite a while both for a table and for your food during peak times. We waited 45 minutes for a table at lunch on a Friday, and waited another 30 minutes for our meals to come out. The service was friendly, and we love all the interesting and unique Scandinavian inspired food options on the menu. The reason I'm not giving them a higher rating is the entree I ordered, their Lost Eggs, was very disappointing (I've had it before at another one of their location and loved it). It was overcooked to the point of being burnt on the bottom (and not pleasantly charred, but actually burnt & inedible), with all the liquid that was supposed to be in the creamed spinach long gone. The top part that wasn't burnt tasted good, but it was definitely no longer "creamed" spinach at all. We were absolutely starving since we waited so long for a table, and then so long for the food to come out, that I didn't bother pointing this out to the server. I'm sure they would have made another, but I didn't want to wait further.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! Ordered the special and it was incredible. Every food item here is fantastic (see pictures). It's a small place so be prepared to wait. They also cook everything fresh so also be patient for the food to arrive. I basically had a ham and cheese stuffed pancake. with delicious jam and arugula on top. Not much out there that is as good as this!

I stopped by on a Thursdaymorning for the Scandinavianbreakfast and was not disappointed.I reviewed the menu andordered the Seasonal Fritterbreakfast with Swedish potatosausages, and two eggs. The menu offers Finnish OvenPorridge, Swedish Hash,Danish Pancakes and muchmore.I received my order in about twenty minutes with no problems. The fritters were served withjam, and were light and notreally sweet. The sausages were mildand had a nice taste to themwith the potato mixed in.The eggs were not overcookedand had the right amountof seasoning to them. The cafe has a drink andlunch menu with Swedish meatballs, salmon cakes, and traditional open face sandwiches. The cafe adds an 18% gratuityto the bill. The small cafe has outdoorseating and is really busyon the weekend.Located on SE 25th andClinton, a short distancefrom SE Division withlimited street parking.A nice place to stop forbreakfast with friendlyservice, great food, anda menu with a number ofunique Scandinavian dishes.

Delicious food and drinks, overall perhaps one of the best brunches I've ever had. Each dish is not only tasty but also aesthetically pleasing. Friendly staff too.I'm only in Portland for a short time but I may be back again this trip.

I really want to like this place. I’ve tried a number of their locations. But for whatever reason it falls flat every time. Between the service and the food, there is a lot to be desired.
