What an unexpected surprise. We were celebrating husband's birthday. When we arrived, there were roses on the table and a card for him from the restaurant. Started off with their signature Focaccia Bread, which was wonderful. Then husband had the Lamb Osso Bucco and I had the Parm-crusted Sole. We are both raving about our dinners. There isn't anything bad we could say about either dish. Finished off with Chocolate Mousse and it was amazing. Next to the service - We were greeted warmly at the front door and seated immediately (reservations recommended). Our server Alex was amazing as well. Very attentive but not intrusive. Even David, the owner stopped by for a nice chat. This is a place we highly recommend and we will be back for sure many times in the future!

Booth seats were uncomfortable, and you can't see anything else but straight ahead, so it was like being in a corner. Music was very annoying at first but got better. One waitress kept cackling and laughing like she was hanging out at a club with friends. Very unprofessional. Ordered a Medium steak, received a blood nearly raw steak. Ordered a Mediterranean salad with salmon, I left half of it on the plate, little to no dressing, cheese was dry like it had been left out, way overly salty, and was mostly green olives and sun dried tomatoes. The salmon was completely dry and flavorless. This was our first visit, we will try again, but highly annoyed with the all around bad experience. And only cost me $125.

Went to eat there last night. although food was good. The service is terrible The dinner menu is limited. They were out of veal could be placed with chicken so we had appetizers. We sat there waiting for wine, which never came and had to ask if there was any bartenders working tonight. All three appetizer came No plates to share no silverware no bread. There were at least 5 girls running around the bar area in sexy outfits I guess for show. Never again

The strong chlorine bleach taste of my shrimp scampi absolutely ruined this experience for me. The shrimp was also tough and rubbery in texture. It's too bad because the sauce was pretty good. Apparently washing shrimp in bleach is a common practice to preserve it and kill harmful bacteria. But yuk!!!

Brooklyn Trattoria does it right! From the darling hostess named Jordan that made us feel so welcome to David, the owner, walking around to every table to see how guest are doing! Top notch! Plus the food was delicious! My brother had the steak and said it was one of the best ever! I had the Sole and it was delicious- I subbed in linguini with pesto! Delicious! And my husband and sister-in-law both loved the vodka sauce pasta! Don't miss dessert! The Tiramisu was delicious! After dinner, go next door to the brand new “speak easy” at the redroom! Swanky and fun vibe ! Keep up the great work Brooklyn Trattoria!!!

Took over 30 min for our waitress to come begin our order… but with how delicious the food was, it was worth the wait. Calamari was a spectacular appetizer followed by the Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Madeira.

Food was excellent; not a crumb left from our three diners. Service was also friendly and excellent. Struggled a bit with the final cost of the meal and drinks ($215), but I guess we could have gotten water instead of alcoholic beverages, so that's a bit on us. Just wish restaurants wouldn't up-charge drinks so much. Don't mind paying well for tasty dishes with fresh ingredients. But $8-$10 or so for a $1.50 ale for example is way out of line.

Absolutely wonderful experience for our large family dinner! Jessica, our waitress, was fun and very knowledgeable on all the dishes and had excelling recommendations. Can’t wait to come back here for date night.
Closes at 8:15 not 9pm on weekdays. Came at 8:11pm and were told we would need to order within 3 minutes.Figured any customers looking for a late meal should be aware.

We have come to this place many times, unfortunately this past time was the first time their customer service highly disappointed us. We waited 30 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink/eat, our food took about 30 minutes to come out- that's already an hour being there. Once our food came it, the waitress did not check in on us to see if everything came out good or if we needed something else till after 20 minutes our food had come out.. we wish our waitress would've been more attentive. After that, we again waited to be attended so we could order a dessert, our dessert came BUT the silverware that was brought out with it was obviously dirty....

This is the 3rd time I've been to this restaurant and I continue to be impressed. It just has a good vibe and the food is great. I also like how the owner comes around to make sure his guests are happy. That's a nice touch that most restaurants don't have.
