The Very Berry Bowl included açaí, granola, strawberries, blueberries, goji berries, almond butter, and cinnamon. The açaí was too watery. The berries were ripe, but I would have preferred the bowl to be a little sweeter. The almond butter was tasty, but difficult to mix in.
Friendly staff, the nambawan strain in particular is absolutely exceptional, but all strains I’ve had here have been good quality. Nice chill atmosphere in beautiful and fun SE Portland. Highly recommend for kava lovers and the kava curious. 😊
A note about safety : commercial Kava products are often made with stem peelings with contain Pipermethystine . It has been reported that heavy native drinkers of traditional Kava preparations in Oceania tend to have elevated liver enzymes. I know a lot of us rely on Kava for life outside of addiction, just be careful if you have liver damage.
