Amazing pizza every time.

The pizza was outstanding. There's no indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside. However, there is not a lot of street parking; I got lucky. I'm not so sure it was a legal parking space and I was almost on the bumper of another car, making it impossible for it to get out. I thoughtfully left a note that I was just across the street incase they needed to leave. They didn't. Next time I'll plan on parking a bit away and walking or get the pizza to go. In that case I'd take a friend so they could drive around the block if needed while I ran in and grabbed the pizza. Bull Run Pizza is near the Joan of Arc statue which is worth seeing.

Showed up right at opening time on a Saturday. Ordered mushroom, onion, extra cheese to go. The person who took my order was really chill and friendly and delivered my pizza to me outside at a picnic bench. The pizza was the best I have had in a long time. Chewy crust, good amount of sauce, solid toppings. 100% satisfied.

These guys get it. They care about their crust and the other ingredients always taste quality and fresh. They know good music. The staff is super down to earth. The only tv in the place is always playing something off beat and doesn’t take over. Consistently a good experience and a Portland gem.

We got lucky and noticed as we walked by that they are open for lunch on weekends during the summer! Get a yummy detroit style OR new york style slice (or both! or 3, like i did!) no need to wait til dinner. Good beer too (Ruse. Little beast, etc)

The marinara pizza description mentioned dried herbs and fresh chopped garlic, but they weren't even noticeable. I added Follow Your Heart vegan Parmesan for $3 even though it was overpriced. The crust was thin and the red sauce was slightly sweet.

they have a nice space with some inside seating and a great little patio out front for additional seating. They also are super friendly with fantastic service. I wish the applause didn’t stop there, but sadly it does…or did for me. The doing is lacking flavor, and for a thick square slice you need tasty dough. In a town that has more than a couple great Detroit style pizzerias, this one doesn’t hold its own to the competition.

Their range of toppings is expansive, but they can be stingy about applying them. If it costs $4 to add bacon to a pie that's fine, but I would hope for more than a sprinkling of bacon in that case.

Disappointing when I want to support small local businesses and they mess up simple orders and give a lackluster product. I ended up going Dominios after they got my order wrong.
