I came here for a sandwich but stayed for a cocktail. Both were awesome, but what shocked me was how affordable it was since the price of everything has been skyrocketing. And even then, the rye bread tasted super fresh, and the sandwich was loaded! The bartender was really fast with taking orders and making cocktails and then my food came out pretty fast also. They had a great selection cocktail essentials and local beer and spirits.Looking forward to trying one of everything.I like the giant windows to let in all of the sunlight and you have a nice view of the West Hills and all of the cars sitting in a traffic jam on I-5 lol.

The mushroom truffle sandwich (vegetarian) is really good!

I love this spot for a quick and affordable lunch! Their ranch salad is such a great deal, $5.50 for a sizable salad packed with bacon, blue cheese, veggies, and a deviled egg on top. Tried their Sandwich Week special today, the Banh Mi Patty Melt, super tasty! The tots/fry sauce are also excellent.

The sandwich's good, had the Cuban. Probably could use a larger portion (more of the soft pork especially) for $13. Could get double the portion at somewhere like firehouse subs. Whatever spices they used (cumin?) was a nice touch to give a bold flavor to the sandwich

The sandwiches were delicious. The tots were a little over cooked but yummy. Classic Portland RC Cola establishment. There were 2 pinball games and a lovely view.

Tldr- skip the chicken sandwich unless you are feeling lucky, skip the tots, bring earplugs if you sit outside bc train horn. Everything else is perfectI have ordered the fried chicken sammitch here on at least 4-6 occasions since I work around the block. 2 of those times were excellent, like really top tier level excellence. I might want slightly more seasoning in the breading but it really doesnt need it to be excellent. The rest were very bad. I have yet to call in and complain about it since my lunch break is usually wrapping up and I have to get back to work and have no time to f around trying to get a new sandwich. When it's good it's almost perfect. When it's not, the meat is somewhere between a Frisbee and a hockey puck in texture, the breading falls off like..... something gross. The bun is somehow ok through all of it, like that brave guy at the plane crash who just stays alive through sheer willpower. But enough about that. All of the other items on the menu have been totally consistent and good. The loaded tots are a pass, but the Mac is solid. The Cubano is pitch perfect, or just slightly too toasted if there's anything wrong at all. The burger is solid and worth it. The service is always, always friendly. The space is bright and open, a little echoey but not too bad. The beer selection isn't amazing but it's always solid. It's kid friendly. If you sit outside, be aware that the train that goes by randomly. It is close, loud, and lays on the horn like it's got a fever and the only prescription is more train horn.Kid-friendliness: There are usually people here with kids. Idk why you want to bring kids to a bar, but someone who does obviously knows enough to make that call multiple times.Parking: It can be tough sometimes especially mid day.
