Buns on the run is probably the best tasting food truck on that street or even Portland by a mile. Ate there for almost 3 years before leaving the country. the philly cheese steak is luscious, juicy, cheesy and filled with meat to the rim. dont forget the hotdogs though, those are amazing too. the snap on those dogs. wish i could go back and experience all that once again.

3.5 starsTwas hungry so I grabbed a quick and easy snack from this food cart which was conveniently located near our hotel. Everything from Buns On The Run is relatively cheap. For around $10 bucks, I got a Philly cheesesteak.The Philly cheesesteak comes with steak, grilled onions, bell peppers, jalapeños with melted Swiss cheese on a toasted pioneer roll. Was this the best version of this sandwich I've ever had? Definitely not, though I do suspect it had something to do with the toasted pioneer roll and lacked the girth of other Philly cheesesteaks. Despite all these minor quips, I did appreciate the addition of the jalapeños because it packed some heat into each bite.Well Downtown Portland is still in the process of recovery, so many of the renown food pods cease to exist anymore. Buns on the Run isn here for your sandwich needs.

Came here with my boyfriend and ordered s nachos and a burger. The nachos were the nasties thing I've ever eaten. All the chips were STALE and He literally dumped crumbs into the container. I'm so annoyed. The burger was okay. Not great. Not delicious. Just okay. I could've saved my money. Save yours and don't eat here.

I love this place! It's the best philly cart in town. Don't be confused by carts by different names like Dr Philly, you won't be getting the best! Great bang for your buck, my girlfriend and I go here twice a week, it's big enough to eat half and go to bed and have breakfast in the morning. I recommend subbing for the curly fries with cheese sauce on them.Yum yum!

Have been supporting this business for years. They used to have quality and good quantity. Most recent visit 7.99 for 2 wings which looked like 4 regular wings in the picture. This is what I got. It is a cut off the chicken isn't a wing at all its a strange cut that is more bone not much meat and a ton of filler in the middle. It didn't even taste good. I decided to write a review after picking it apart looking for meat. The sandwiches are good if you like onion to meat ratio 3:1. But these don't even pass for wings and SHOULD BE ADVERTISED AS FRIED CHICKEN NOT WINGS!!! I honestly feel ripped off and will never return. I hope for the sake of others the quality and portions improve or I don't see it lasting much longer.
