Good atmosphere indoor and out. Plenty of outdoor seating with heaters. Food tasted great. Long wait to order and for food to be made every time I went since they have you order at the bar and the bartender is also busy serving folks drinks. 30-45+ minutes. Not sure why they don’t add a hostess to take food orders at a podium or have online ordering with table QR code scans to avoid the problem. They also ask you not to form a line so it is a bit awkward to tell who was first. You can also order as takeout on your phone and your food will come in boxes rather than plates.I recommend if you want yummy vegan food, good atmosphere, and you aren’t in a rush.Vegetarian options: Fully vegan menuDietary restrictions: Fully vegan menu

This was my first experience at a fully vegan pub and it truly impressed me. Bonus points it was walking distance to our house. My favorite thing on the menu is the spaghetti or for a real treat- Pretzels and cheeze dip!!! If you aren't a drinker- they have great kombucha and other options. Dog friendly ! Great patio space. Gets a bit loud indoors, but it's a pub!!

I really want to like this place. The bartender was friendly and they have gluten free options. But I have two gripes: I got Obie's Bowl and it had no greens! This is partly my fault for not fully reading the menu, but it would be so much better with at least some vegetables.Second, they use way too much garlic. Please, just tone it down!

My partner and I were hungry after a show and pickings can be slim in Portland the later it gets. I looked up this bar and OMG, I was so pleased. The menu was vegan and they had fantastic priced cocktails. The bar is well decorated and the staff are definitely friendly.

Great spot, great atmosphere. So cool to go to a 100% vegan bar! Soycurl wrap and soft pretzel appetizers are top hits !

The Bye and Bye has been a staple for me since I first moved to Portland. It's a charming spot with excellent drinks & food, all of which happens to be vegan & affordably priced given Portland standards. Their patios are excellent & Alberta is my favorite street in Portland. I look forward to visiting often.

We loved everything about this place! The food is amazing. We especially loved the Weeping Tiger tofu sandwich, the meatball sub, and the Italian deli sandwich. The pretzel knots were also great. The soy curl buffalo wrap was good, but I think I've found that I'm just not that into the "buffalo" flavor in general - no fault of theirs, though. I'm looking forward to trying their bowls and brunch. The drinks were excellent, and I was impressed with how fancy the zero proof cocktails were for a very good price. The outdoor seating is plentiful (two patios!) and dog-friendly. Love that they are open late and are an option after many other places have closed for the night.

Giving this place a 5 star rating based on the ambiance, drinks and service. Very cool vibe and good choice of drinks. Didn't have any food, so can't comment on that. But my friend who ordered food really liked it. Street parking can be a little tough depending on the time of the day. They have a very cool outdoor seating area that should be fun during summers.

You will be blown away by their vegan offerings at Bye and Bye. The food is so delicious and expertly prepared that you'll be hard-pressed to believe it's all vegan. It's a fantastic spot to unwind with a drink at night, offering a great atmosphere for hanging out. However, I had a less than pleasant experience regarding their after-hours policy. Their website states that ID is required at the door only after a specific time later in the evening. Believing this, I made sure to send my brother to pick up an order at 6 pm, who is over 21 but recently lost his ID, which was well before the stated ID check time by at least 2+ hours. Unfortunately, he was turned away by the bouncer who was not only unaccommodating but also quite rude in the process. The bouncer/security simply stated that he decided to come to work early and start doing ID checks sooner since it got really busy early despite it not being time yet.Additionally, attempts to contact the restaurant were futile as their phone line seems perpetually busy or not working at all. It's disappointing that such an issue could mar an otherwise enjoyable experience. While the food at Bye and Bye is undeniably amazing, their customer service, particularly at the door, could use some improvement.

I recently watched the hit Netflix show ‘You Are What You Eat.’ Everyone should watch it! Not only is a Vegan diet healthier but it’s also a crucial step in attempting to save this planet. I just ate a wonderful vegan sandwich with a side of spicy black beans. Bye and Bye is close to my home, so I’m planning on now being a regular.CJ, the bartender and server, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, great service, timely service, and it’s a relaxing space.“Research shows that vegan diets resulted in 75% less climate-heating emissions, water pollution and land use than diets in which more than 100g of meat a day was eaten. Vegan diets also cut the destruction of wildlife by 66% and water use by 54%, the study found.”
