It's so hard to get a reservation here unless you do it weeks ahead. I'm sorry it is no longer a place just to have a coffee. The acoustics inside are pretty bad and don't make it easy for a conversation. But I do love the setting.

We had the bacon Benedict and it was excellent. Crispy thick bacon, onion biscuit. But potatoes were a little boring, seemed just boiled without seasoning, not crisp. It was very quiet when we arrived but by the time we were done eating, it was pretty loud. A server had called out fir the day, so getting pastries to go was a bit of a wait

Have been coming to Cornell Cafe for several years. The menu changes seasonally and it's always fresh and delicious. It's a fun place to meet with friends since the gardens make for a nice walk and the gift shop has something for everyone.

While I enjoyed my lunch of Pear Tartine, I must say for $10 the offering was rather skimpy. Supposed to have cheese, which was nearly invisible, and thin slices of pear on crispy, very thin toast.

It was nice - a bit over hyped but yummy. Our waiter was forgetful and I had to ask twice for most things and remind him my coffee was decaf - pretty sure it wasn't the first cup as I was a bit wired - no harm done - still appreciate wait staff and having a nice meal with a friend

A friend and I eat lunch at Cornell Farm Cafe pretty regularly-monthly, probably. We always enjoy what we order and I can say neither of us has ever been disappointed with our lunch.

I have been here before and had great experiences. This time I ordered a basic breakfast. They brought it out and the bacon was flat out burned, it seemed like it was old bacon that had been re-heated. Even the server said he wouldn't eat it. The potatoes were also overcooked and like rubber. I'm pretty certain they were day old potatoes that had been re-cooked. They were pretty gross as well. I sort of felt like their old food was dumped on me because they didn't want to throw it away.

Considering the prices of menu options, I would think that the food would be better quality. It is bare minimum at best. We made reservations and when we arrived no one was avaialable at the desk to help because they were too short staffed. They pivoted to having everyone order at the counter. I understand that being short staffed is out of their control, but a notification prior to our reservation would have been nice so that we could have chosen to move forward or find another location. This was for a birthday lunch so serving ourselves and waiting longer than normal was not our first choice.

The food was wonderful! I had the avocado toast and my friend had the BLT. Both plates included Dos Hermanos Bakery sourdough bread, which is outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive. Compared to many restaurants, the portions were small, but I think the prices reflected the portion size. My only negative comment is that the noise level was very loud. We sat outside, which at this time of year is covered. I think perhaps the tent amplified the sound of people talking. I'll definitely be back!

We got there early thinking we would have to wait but they seated us in the outside area. Lovely server, very prompt, left us to chatting while we ate. The only drawback was the volume of conversations. It became difficult to hear the person I was with. Probably not much to be done with that if everyone is enjoying their meal and their companions.

The cafe was not open at 8. We waited outside for almost 10 minutes The food server you could tell was pre occupied, perhaps not pleased she was the only server. When we asked if we could have our coffee ( black Coffee) which I could see there was coffee between the indoor and outdoor are, she retorted , “ I am by myself, so on and so on.” Not good

We enjoyed a lovely brunch at Cornel Farm Cafe yesterday. Our server was exceptional. We were meeting up with friends that we had not seen for several months & we did not feel rushed, which was nice. She checked on us often, but didn't hurry us. The food was incredible. Thank you!

I've been twice for brunch and love the setting and food, but the service has been very slow both times. We had to ask multiple times for our coffee and drinks order as well as water.

It was great as usual....the only negative was that they said they were short staffed and couldn't provide cocktails. We were able to get mimosas but that was it. Overall very good food and nice staff as always
