For my experience and taste, the best coffee in Portland.

Recently ordered two hot mochas from this location. Unfortunately, we did not end up drinking either of our drinks as they did not have enough mocha flavor to our liking and the shot was so so super acidic (opposite from being bitter). So much so that water was not enough to cleanse our palate of the taste. I am guessing maybe it was just a bad dial and may be okay the rest of the time.

Paid $7 for a coffee that was not very good (weak, didn’t like the syrup, my opinion). When i said it wasn’t great and would like something else, the snobby barista tried to charge me another $6 for a drink AFTER she dumped out my previous one. And scoffed at me when i questioned it. I have worked as a barista myself for years and have never come across anything like that. For customer happiness and loyalty it was always no biggie to remake a drink for a customer if they for some reason didn’t like it.
Super small but best coffee in the neighborhood and the baristas are always friendly.

I love this café but 6.50 for this tiny thing is crazy expensive..
I got the best mocha in my life here this morning. It tasted real cacao/cocoa and real coffee, which was not overly sweet. I will definitely come back. They have outside tables so you can enjoy your good drink with your dog. I don't recommend to visit them in the afternoon. Morning is good!

This was a great place. I've been in several times at 7:45 in the morning the past few months since it's down the street from me, yet there's only one person working even though there's always a line of people waiting to order.
Parking: I suggest parking a block or 2 away in the neighborhood where there's more parking.
Kid-friendliness: It's a very small place, so not enough room for kids to move around. There is some outside seating if the weather is nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is in an old building and has not been updated for wheelchair accessibility.

Amazing coffe, adorable shop. The two baristas working Saturday 6.29 negated the whole experience. Hopefully it was a one off, but it was beyond uncomfortable. It’s very unfortunate as the coffee was amazing! Is customer service lost? Do people no longer know how to smile and just be nice? They didn’t even have to be nice to me, just each other, the tension was uncalled for.
