I fear the service reviews are true,
definitely a hit or miss with service. if your server l likes you youll get continuous service, if not, you could be waiting 20mins for a drink. food is mid, nothing extra exciting; I appreciate the kitchens ambition though... I wish the server could recommend good drink pairings with food but ig is all good.

We arrived on time for our reservation, only to be told it would be difficult to get a seat because they ‘had a lot of reservations.’ After disappearing for a while, the host returned and simply said it would be ‘quite a long time.’ Despite several open tables and available seats at the bar, there was no offer to accommodate us and no apology.

Horrible service and the food isn't good enough to make up for it.

The food was pretty darn good and the atmosphere and service were stellar. The prices were high but that is unfortunately the world we live in right now.

A Portlabd standard, has been there for many years, food is good but could use some refinement, we went for brunch, seemed under staffed.

This place was disappointing.
Met here with some friends. Although the place was nearly empty, we had a hard time getting drinks (the waiter would take an order then run off to get it before checking with the rest of the table). The mixed drinks were very light on alcohol so we ordered straight whisky. Two of the three of those drinks had fruit flies in them.
Ordered the steak mid-mid rare and it came out rare (also they cut it, so they saw it was rare and sent it out regardless). Another at the table had a salad and it came out a head of romaine with dressing, cheese, and 5 very large croutons.
I’m sure it was supposed to artistic but it just came across as lazy.
I was told that the kids Mac and cheese was good.

Such wonderful food, drinks, ambience and most of all service! The ceasar, burger & frites and the pacific sole meuniere were so delicious! So were our drinks, french 75 and the harvest martini. Our server Clabe was so warm and attentive, we will definitely be back!

This place been ignored to put it mildly. Definitely overrated. Food is NOT freshly made! We ordered salmon hash, steak and eggs and pancakes. Zoom in to see the quality. The salmon stank and was old and bland and tasteless! The potato wedges were old too! Asparagus, kale and pancakes were all burnt up! The entire place stank and was dirty. You could tell the carpets were not cleaned for ages! Dust and gunk every corner. The server was a decent gentleman but could not spare a smile at us. I do not recommend this place. Hideous.

Had a reservation for 1030am. Was there on time.
Gentlemen sat myself and my daughter at a table that was directly next to the kitchen. Only a curtain separating is, that was not a good shield .
I requested at the start, if we could please have a seat by the window. The tables, that sat 4, were all empty.
The gentleman was very hesitant in trying to accommodate us by a window.
He stated those tables had reservations. I reminded him that we did as well.
He stated that it would basically put him in a bind, to sit us there.
I was not pleased, but we sat at the original two table that was directly in the path to the kitchen.
We ate. Food was average.
Stayed for about an hour.
Nobody sat at those tables, when we left.
I mentioned to the waitress the very poor customer service.
Would not recommend.
All the waitress offered was an apology. The gentleman, who i am assuming was the manager said nothing.
Extremely disappointing.

Amazing staff and quality service. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
It's become a tradition for my dad and I to come here brunch and a Bloody Mary before I go back to Seattle after Thanksgiving. I do wish they still offered the eggs Benedict brunch on Fridays. The sausage hash is really good, and this year I did the chilaquiles, which was also very tasty. The Bloody Marys have changed over the years, it seems like they've become less grandiose and more simplified, but they are still very tasty and have a day's worth veggies. All in all, I do look forward to stopping in each year for that breakfast and Bloody Mary.
