The people behind the counter are good folks, and always make the coffee just how I would’ve liked it.
I Always leave here in a better mood than when I came in.
It’s unfortunate they can’t accept tips, so I will show my gratitude through this review instead.

I like this cafe and their lattes and pastries. Service can be a little slow if there's a rush but staff are nice about it. I sometimes buy one or two things from the grocery store and check out here and get a latte to go! :)

Our hotel did not offer a breakfast so we went to Cafe Umbria a couple of mornings while downtown. The lattes and cappuccinos were excellent as were there scones. A little gem!
Looking for a place close to our hotel Heathman, and something similar in quality to Peets, I was referred here. Wow, was I surprised. Starbucks was about the same distance, and usually I go there to get a decent cup of Joe. Glad I didn't. If you like bold fl, come here. I will return for the next 2 days as we depart for home on Sunday. Thank you Caffe Umbria.
Amazingly smooth Café latte with perfect foam and coffee flavor is exquisite. My first visit here and I will definitely be back. I also had a chocolate biscotti which was excellent not too hard and very nutty the anise flavor came through as well a perfect complement to the café.The small chocolate that comes with the café doesn’t hurt either!
I visit this cafe regularly bc it’s the closest to where I live, but my drink is always a hit or miss. Tipping doesn’t go a long way either; you’ll still be waiting 10 mins for a simple latte and sometimes made very wrong. The staff is also a hit or miss, sometimes they are friendly, and sometimes they appear to hate their job, and it shows. I wouldn’t usually care to write a review about this, but I’m getting tired of paying for an overpriced drink that is not even made right. It’s an ongoing issue that should probably get addressed with their baristas. Do better Cafe Umbria!
Very excellent café. European in both sentiments and quality! A rare sense of capability and peace comes from the service side of the counter, creating a calm interior, even when there are “rushes”.” Café Umbria started in Seattle but has independent local owners each committed it seems to the best of espresso culture. They roast their own beans! Staff is well trained, with positive can-do answers without the coffee-snob attitude of many boutique baristas. Umbria, known to the Italians as, “the green heart of Italy,” is an apt name for a café that is excellent on all levels: drinks, environment and that elusive unicorn, called customer service!
This coffee stop never disappoints. Excellent coffee options, wonderful service. I look forward to a time when all the delicious eating options are offered again.

Excellent coffee, great service. People were chatting with each other, from a distance of course, but it was nice to see and hear friendly conversations. Wonderful place!
Best latte.
Sometimes no room when all the tables and chairs are taken, but this place is great for excellent service, food items, and knowledgeable staff. Selection of teas is superior to other coffee shops.
Great coffee, smiling faces on the evening team. New in the city and took time to make suggestions. My mocha latte was soooo yummy! Also had a turkey sandwich which was very tasty. Would get again.
Very nice place to sit enjoy coffee however like regular chairs to sit on not the high ones
