Cafe Yumm! - NE 7th & Holladay

My food was brought to me pretty much by the time I got water and sat down. Got the Original Yumm Bowl with extra sauce and some Sriracha and it was delicious

Tasty fast place for food bowls/wraps with high quality ingredients. Good ratio of ingredients to rice too. Prices are a little high and the fact that protein is extra for chicken or tofu can push up the price of a meal more than you'd expect, but it's tasty. Or should I say yummy. Good in a pinch if you're in the area. Can get hectic at lunch time.

I come here regularly for lunch and it never disappoints.

I love the original yummy bowl, for all of the variety and protein that’s in it. It never disappoints. My only concern is the size of the containers. When I order a large I sometimes end up with a small bowl. I wondered if it holds as much as a large bowl but when I poured it into the large bowl it doesn’t.

I think for sometime I’ve been paying for large but receiving small/medium portions. They also charge extra for double scoops yet never provide it. I wish they’d be more consistent with packaging and portions or at least leave a note.

Became sick after eating here almost immediately. Had to use their restroom and after being in there for 5 minutes they triggered a fire alarm and tried busting down the door. Didnt even get a chance to clean myself up as i thought the building was burning down. When i exited the restroom their were customers and employees acting as if no alarm had went off and were calmy going about their day. Idk if that is some trick they play on drug addicts that wander in but either way i will not be returning to this location.

Great spot for lunch. Wasn't overcrowded, there was someone actively wiping tables. Felt comfortable.

Hard to park nearby for pickups.

Surprisingly very good food. You order at the cash register, pay, and they bring the food to you. Atmosphere is more like a cafeteria but the prices are very fair. The best I can say about anyplace is, "I'll be back".

Meh. Food was okay but service and price is not really worth it. I kept repeating that I wanted extra southwest tofu because the order kiosk didn’t match when I was ordering it and I get a bowl that’s barely full and a few pieces of seasoned tofu. Cafe yumm used to be good but not so much anymore.

Good, healthy, fast. Friendly service and the place is clean.

This was also one of my go to places when I stayed in Portland. Superb service to go! Never had to wait more than 10 minutes and the Chicken Teriyaki bowl was delicious! Everyone is so kind. Thanks so much! ?

Cafe yumm is one of my favorite places to go for a healthier meal. You can taste that the quality of their ingredients is higher than most other restaurants. Who compete for the same market, namely Chipotle. The staff here are super friendly. They remember me when I come in! The food is generally prepared within 20 minutes. Which is always appreciated! I do have one criticism that I feel is of note. I usually order the same thing. A wrap with the same instructions each time. Surprisingly, I don't think they use standardized measurements? Which is certainly authentic and kind of keeps you on your toes. But it does not make for very consistent wraps. (I don't care for bowls. Perhaps filling a wrap is more difficult). If they could increase their consistency, just a tad, they'd be a 5 star in my book!
