Wow. What a little slice of nice Caffè Umbria is!
I stopped in just looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat and some homework done while waiting to check into my hotel. I got the turkey pesto sandwich (heated) with a side of olives and a small salad, The Grecian, plus a cold brew to drink.
Theres plenty of space to sit and enjoy your food, drinks, and the music! Whatever station the staff had on was great, just like staff, themselves! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Americano was nothing but flavorless brown water - my bulk drip coffee I make at home was far better

4.25 for an espresso + credit card surcharge? Almost 25 $ for two espressos and 2 juices??!

If Caffe Umbria ever closed I would sink into deep and unending despair.

Some of the best coffee I've ever had, and I'm a coffee nerd! The baking and food is just okay though. Great staff!

This business is located in the historic Sovereign Hotel which was built in 1923 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
This a beautiful building and a must see. The Restaurant is worth visiting.

Absolutely charming caffe with delicious sandwiches and great vibes. It is relaxing while at the same time being energizing. Love this place. Cozy on a rainy day. Terrific staff. We split a tomato, mozzarella, pesto sandwich on perfect bread. How do they do it?

New hidden service fees (charging for cups?), and the usual poor communication between the person ringing us up and the barista. The barista was actually very professional and kind (this time) and added in the things we were charged for in our drinks. We’ve had enough rude/awkward exchanges with some of the other baristas that honestly it might be time to stop frequenting this cafe. Very basic sandwiches, but the price has gone up about a dollar. So, over $8 for a dry and unflavored sandwich experience.
