This is my favorite coffee spot in downtown. Very cozy to dine in, coffee and pastries are delicious. And they're chill about me coming in with my dog!

Strong coffee with a classic atmosphere. The historic building, white and black tiling, and marble tabletops are best appreciated when the sun shines through the huge windows and makes the indoor greenery pop even brighter. It isn't the biggest cafe, but there are a fair number of two-seater tables, a window counter, and a larger circular table for groups you might be lucky enough to snag. You could spend all day here, starting off with a coffee and pastry in the morning, then lunch with pre-packaged yogurt and salads, then start your evening with a cocktail. Alternative milk options available. With free Wi-Fi and outlets, it's not hard to see why many choose here to study or work. Dispense your own water from the water station at the pickup counter. For explanations of the various drinks and unlabeled pastries, look no further than your friendly barista. I opted to get a Caffe al Pepe, an interesting twist on a latte with black pepper and honey. For those who like a hint of spice in their drinks, would definitely recommend - I could even have used a bit more pepper. My Trail Mix cookie was also a delight, being the perfect size and mixture for someone indecisive like myself. Prices are a little on the higher end (a cookie + medium specialty latte coming out to over $12 pre-tip), but worth the occasional treat and a few hours spent basking in Umbria's light.

Caffe Umbria is one of the best coffee shops in downtown and I'm happy to say that my first experience here was amazing. Everytime I passed it, I would look through the windows and be impressed with the inside decor and style, which makes it unique with it's black and white tile floors. With the cozy factor definitely being a 5/5, especially in such a great location for people watching, all that needed to be executed to be a staple spot to get some espresso was the quality of the drinks; thankfully, the barista who made our drinks was great, doing a splendid job with a normal latte and a ice matcha. Both were extremely tasty, the foam on my latte was perfect, and the entire experience left me excited to come back the next time I was in this area of downtown.I highly recommend Caffe Umbria!

Coffee here is really good ? the fact they open at 7am makes them a good choice for early people like me. We tried their bacon omelette sandwich and it tasted delicious. For the season they are offering eggnog late milk coffee which tasted really good as well. ? recommended this place

Really good mocha and café al pepe in a bright and beautiful space downtown. ☕️ The breakfast croissant sandwich was crispy, flaky and delicious. The ham egg and cheese English muffin was tasty but a bit soggy inside... Service was friendly but not super outgoing and we had to wipe our own table of crumbs... So... 5 star coffee/croissant and four star service and English muffin.??‍♂️

This Caffe Umbria location is lovely. Bigger than its other downtown location. The inside is modern yet cozy with lots of tables to work or chat.Their menu is pretty standard with lattes and espresso drink varieties. Staffs were very nice and friendly; they seem to have local regulars frequenting the spot.Their pastry offering was great. We got the Apple Bread Pudding and it's so unique and tasty with flaky pastry on top and gooey pudding inside.A winner indeed!
