We were in the area and specifically searched empanadas. They were a bit dry however tasted great, my favorite was the pork & pineapple. The sandwiches we ordered were exceptional! Bomb.com for real. The pan con lecho Americano was to die for and the Cuban was great too! Having been raised in Miami, the food was a pleasant reminder of home. The place could be cleaner but the music was great. Will be going back!

It's hard to find good empanadas in Portland so I'm glad to have found this place. Both the savory and sweet empanadas were excellent!

The food was fine, if overpriced. The service was non-existent. The atmosphere? Well, there was a place to sit, look at the rain and eat.

East Coast bodega feel. I had made an online order for pickup for myself and my wife who is attending a conference nearby and the earliest ASAP pickup time was about 30 minutes from then, I arrived about 15 minutes early of that time, and she acknowledged that I was there, confirmed that I was waiting for a pickup and rushed the order to be done before the selected time. Great service.

Great food (we got the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito) — amazing coffee too! I think they may have been understaffed this day, which is why I only gave one star. We arrived at 10 and were asked to come back in 10 minutes because they weren’t open yet, but the door was wide open and the listing says they open at 9.
very sad about my experience.
the burrito i got was so greasy it was like disintegrating the tortilla, there was a hole where the stuff inside of it was falling out.
not only that but there was hard black plastic in every bite of the burrito. was completely inedible i had to throw it out. i would’ve said something if i had eaten in but i took it to work

I’ve been to many restaurants in the city, but this one really stands out. The combination of excellent food, stylish décor, and top-notch service makes it unforgettable. I tried a few different dishes and each one was a pleasant surprise—creative recipes, fresh ingredients, and wonderful taste. What’s more, the staff genuinely cared about our experience, checking in at the right moments and always with a smile. You can tell there’s a lot of thought and passion behind everything they do here. Highly recommend it to anyone who values great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great place to grab a takeout lunch. Had the vegetarian platter and it was delicious- black beans and rice, fried plantains and fried yucca, with a tiny side salad of fresh mixed greens, tomato, and mango habanero dressing. Very tasty. A bit dear at $15 but worth it - this is home-cooked not fast food. Will definitely be going back!
