Our dinner was delicious. This is the first place I think of when wanting an Italian meal!

I’ve dined here many times and this time came for the special chef night meal. As usual food is great. One dish was over seasoned but the rest were so balanced and delicious. Atmosphere is romantic and casual. Service was good, however for included 23% gratuity, it was not excellent. All in all, would come again because the food is incredible.

Excellent real Italian flavors and presentation in a comfortable neighborhood location. All you can ask for Italian taste with pretense.

This is a nice little place for a tasty bite. The menu wasn’t huge, but there were several different options, including vegetarian ones to choose from.

We ordered only a few items, including a glass of the house wine for that evening, which was delicious! We started with the meatballs that came with a hunk of garlic bread (that was my favorite part of the dish). The red sauce had good flavor, with the right amount of spice/herbs. However, the meatballs fell incredibly short. You could tell they were frozen at one point, but they were barely warm. One was even cold in the middle. The one I did have had reasonable flavor and overall the dish was good, minus the temp. The cavatelli dish was nice with the whipped ricotta. The ragu sauce was similar to that served with the meatballs and meshed well with the pork.

Based on the few dishes we ordered, this place offers simple, yet appetizing dishes.

Campana never disappoints, ever. One of Portland's best Italian spots, bar-none. The servers are always friendly and insightful. The menu rotates and everything on it is stellar. Their cocktails are incredible and there is an impressive wine list. The prices are quite great, as well. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Campana! Staff was super friendly and helpful without being intrusive and food was great. Several vegetarian options were also available which is always nice.

Also had tasty cocktails and dessert. Will definitely be back.

Update:
Host was amazing, as usual, but server was cold and even mildly rude. I think she was annoyed at us for some reason. Sort of ruined an otherwise nice (and expensive!) meal.

Fresh, homemade traditional Italian food. A really great meal, and perfect date night place.
We got the special a gnocchi pancake dish... light and fully of flavor. For dinner we did a ragu bolonase dish and it was yummy, not to filling out heavy.
I would say this is a mid Italian coast experience.

Bread was fantastic. Caesar salad was gigantic. Order one for 2 or 3 people. Pastas were good but not exceptional. Tried the cavateli and vodka versions. Wine selection was excellent. Nice place for dinner.

Felt very rushed to order. Extremely limited menu that didn't match online. Seating has you sitting 2 inches from the next table. Server wouldn't recommend similar options to what was listed on website and just walked away in the middle of a question.

A neighborhood joint with outdoor seating this place is one for hungry eaters. Portions are plentiful and service casual. We sat outside and it wasn’t too noisy despite being on a busy road.

This place was so great! Excellent apps and pasta choices. I got the we also tried the Caesar and caprese salads. They were great but also massive and we could have probably split one between the two of us. Overall great food and drink and overall experience.
