Our Server was great! Very attentive and friendly. Food was amazing! Especially the deep fried anchovies. Also, my boyfriend and I were delighted that the chef was Ukrainian and some of the Proceeds goes to Ukraine.

I happens found by searching in OpenTable. IWe arrived much earlier than what we reserved and they provided us the seating as quickly as possible. Fooled is amazing and much beyond expectation except one paella of two orders is not like al dente but Japanese cooked rice. Overall this restaurant is amazing overall.

This was my 27th visit since they've opened. Service is always hit or miss and never seem to have enough staff. My bigger concern is the reduction in food quantity but no price cuts. Example the iberico meat board is thinner cuts, less meat as they now throw on apples, olives, nuts, cheese that I didn't want and wasn't specified while price is $44. Paella also had considerable less rice and for two was $98.

Had to wait 20 min to get seated, staff not very attentive. Once we got seated the service was good. Food was excellent and I highly recommend it. Perfect crab croquettes , potato bravas, delicious fish ( black cod) and lamb . Definitely a must have restaurant on the list

Tara was a faaabulous server. She was n't intrusive as we were so involved in chatting. She was very knowledgeable of menu and wines. She was cheery and overall a perfect server. The anchovies/sardine appetizer was to die for. Ink paella yum! The sea bass was cooked perfectly w/yummy asparagus. But The purple cauliflower puree was flavorless and too much of it. I'd skip it if you order the sea bass. We had a lovely evening catching up w/our friends and never felt rushed. Also a go to place as neighborhood appears quiet, safe no homeless that we could see. Parking was easy.

Took my mom, aunt, and partner here for Easter Sunday. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. We had a bruchetta-like croquette appetizer & salad for starters and those were great. The 2 paellas (de Brunch and a seafood one with squid ink) were both super delicious and distinct. My Benedict de Lox was perfect. Everyone was really happy with their meal and the prices are affordable. The ambiance is a bit bland for my taste - which is my only critique. Thank you to the chef!

First time here & definitely would like to return. We ordered 4 items purely from the tapas or small plate menu & loved them all. I'm gluten intolerant & appreciated all the gluten free menu items. Also, an attractive & welcoming place. No pretense.

Excellent food and service. Staff was professional and friendly. We had the seafood paella. So much food we took some home. Paella is ordered by the number of people. There were three of us and we could have ordered paella for two and had plenty. Recommend highly.

Enjoyed our meal. We arrived early and said we would go to the bar for a drink. Never came back around to give us a table. Bartender Erick was nice as were the folks who sat next to us.

Patatas Bravas, potatoes and beef cheeks, and Brussels sprouts were very good. Shishitos were good, but could have used a lemon sauce, or something. Other dishes were just fine. Some seemed to be under-warmed. Desserts were yummy. Cocktails were refreshing. Service was attentive, very pleasant, and non-intrusive. I'd go back if I were close by, but probably wouldn't travel to enjoy another meal there.

Pricey for me ($60 for filet mignon), but everything was fantastic- chuletas, filet mignon, grilled vegetables, truffle mashed potatoes, crema catalana, cocktails — we loved all of it.

Our server was very friendly, attentive and made excellent suggestions. The food was delicious, especially the Brussels sprouts and meatballs but the paella was just okay, almost felt rushed due to high demand. This is definitely a place worth visiting in PDX but be prepared to spend a little extra

Excellent tapas. The beef bites were scrumptious. Our paellas likewise were just so good. Too often chicken in paella is dry and overcooked. At Can Font it was juicy and tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming and disappointing. We ordered starters, as well as entrées. They lacked flavor. The manager was dressed like a 14 year old. I'm sorry, I don't believe the term "Keep Portland Weird" fits with this type of establishment, nor did we want it to for the evening. In my humble opinion, he should have dressed the part and presented himself in a professional manner. However, once we encountered him, his dress attire very much aligned with his incredibly condescending and unprofessional behavior. He was just straight up odd, rude, off-putting and offensive. I'm honestly still dumbfounded by his behavior. I hope this saves others from wasting their money and time. People certainly don't choose these types of restaurants to be treated so rudely and walk away upset, underwhelmed with their meal and feeling like they threw away their hard earned money. I'd love to hear from Vladimir, and not the manager posing as the owner with a condescending or argumentative response. I would like to add that our server was absolutely wonderful. And the cocktail was enjoyable.I read this quote while reading and researching this restaurant. And I assure you, with this gentleman there, this quote does not hold up."Can Font has earned its reputation through consistent excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This commitment is the key to the community's trust and affinity for this restaurant. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic dinner, gathering with friends, or simply exploring the wonders of Spanish cuisine, Can Font is the place to be."

Family dinner .. sharing sizes on the appetizers.. really nice because we all enjoyed samples of the various tapas we ordered. The fried smelt was so delicious. Also, the papas bravas were so good I wanted a bowl for myself ;) Very good wine selection. I think the main dishes are pricey. I ordered seafood paella which was loaded with delicious sea food. A little oily for my taste but everyone else seemed pleased ? with their choices. Very comfortable atmosphere. Our server was very nice and the kitchen efficient. I hope you have a good time at Can-Font.. we certainly did!
