This restaurant has been around for many years and may have its best years behind it. Very few people were getting dinner or drinks on a Saturday night, and we were not impressed with the food. The grilled cheese was not great, but the soup it was served with was good. I got a pork shoulder, which was cooked well but the polenta it was served with absorbed all the salty liquid and was not pleasant.

Very good food! The bruschetta was absolutely amazing and the burger and fries were pretty good. The atmosphere was a little too dark for me, and I was the only person in the dining area late at night (there were people in the bar though), so it was a little awkward sitting there. Would recommend!

I would not recommend going there if you’re by yourself… They’ll treat you like a criminal…. Overpriced mediocre food with no flavor whatsoever… I couldn’t even finish it….

Worst experience ever. I thought it would be good because my one friend liked it. I want to give it negative stars because they said they couldn't even cook fried food. They were happy serving drinks. OLCC says that as long as you are serving drinks you have to serve food. They denied me food.... olcc please check on this place! I will never go there again!

Such good food! The atmosphere is a bit dark. I also did get sick after eating here but damn the food was great. Worth it.

Great late night place with a full menu and right around the corner from the Crystal Ballroom. Avoid late night bar food and eat here instead. The grilled Caesar salad is the best.

First of all. I have been coming here for over 20 years.
And I’ve never received bad food.
Or Bad service. It’s not super fancy. It’s middle of the road fancy. The price reflects that.
But it is amazing food. Appetizers always on point. Brussel sprouts. Perfectly done.
I usually order the burger and french fries.
The calamari.
Corn fritters. All Really well done.
My wife loves the salads here and everything else. Looking forward to bringing my daughter here.

It's fantastic every time I go. The seafood stew was outstanding! For sure doesn't get the credit it deserves!

We had a lovely quiet evening and a fairly late dinner. Good drinks, good food, good service, good atmosphere. Open later than many downtown locations.

We were happy to have found Cassidy's after a fun but cold and rainy stroll. The chicken soup was pretty good, as was the ravioli and bread. We had a friendly waiter who chatted with us since it was slow during our visit. It says something about a place when employees are happy to be at work!

Correction, it was the wrong restaurant I was discussing in the first review. We did however stop in at Cassidy's because it was one of the only things open late. The menu was very odd, and the waiter told us we only had a few minutes to choose what we wanted to order and tried to hurry us along because the kitchen was "closing" so we walked out.

Lovely old Portland restaurant. Cocktails and food were delish and staff were friendly. Great spot to hit before the crystal.

Classic BLT. The drinks are excellent, the place is comfortable as ever.
Be forewarned, the men's room "stall" doesn't have a door that offers any amount of privacy.
