My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!
Greatest hidden gem in the PNW!

This intimate spot is my favorite place for any date night. Wish I have more pics, but we were just in the present moment. To top it off, it’s like a 3 minute walk from home for us. Food is made to perfection and wine selections are all great. The owner is so helpful and treats everyone like a client and we love that! Although the space is intimate, we didn’t feel uncomfortable. Such a sweet little spot that we will always return.

Dining at C’est Si Bon in Portland, Oregon, is an experience that transports you straight to the heart of French culinary tradition. From the moment you step into the charming, intimate setting, you’re greeted with warm service and an inviting atmosphere perfect for a refined evening.
The dinner service excels in balancing elegance with comfort, featuring dishes that are both thoughtful and rich in flavor. The menu offers a range of seasonal French classics, each prepared with a modern twist. Standouts include the duck confit, melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned, and the bouillabaisse, brimming with fresh seafood in a flavorful broth.
However, what truly elevates the dining experience at C’est Si Bon are the expertly curated wine pairings. Each course is thoughtfully matched with wines that complement and enhance the flavors, from delicate whites with seafood to bold reds with heartier dishes. The sommelier’s selections reflect a deep understanding of how to pair French cuisine with both local and international wines.
Every detail, from the quality of the food to the perfectly paired wines, creates a memorable dining experience that is refined, relaxing, and utterly delightful. C’est Si Bon is a must-visit for any food and wine enthusiast in Portland.

Dining at C'est Si Bon! was an absolute pleasure. John (the proprietor and owner) and his sommelier Nels were the best. The food was exceptional, we chose the tasting menu which showcased the best and most popular dishes on the menu allowing us a to sample a vast array of different foods.
The dining service was impeccable. John and Nels made it feel much like dining with old friends instead of the usual restaurant experience. We were there early in the evening, and it wasn't too busy but I suspect this personalized service extends to dozen or so tables that surround the well kept bar. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails followed by some impeccably curated wines from France. It was certainly a night to remember, and one that that we'd recommend to anyone wanting a fine dining experience. We'll be back! Thanks John and Nels and the folks in the back who cooked up our lovely bites and tastes.
