We had a special birthday dinner at C'est Si Bon. Our waiter was also the owner and was very personable. The food was very good. The desserts were classic and amazing. They put a candle in one of them for my birthday. We sat for hours at the table just like we do in France. It was a great experience.
I'm always surprised that more people haven't discovered this Portland gem. It takes you to Paris in an instant with its small size, food service and overall ambiance. The service is always great and the dishes are not prepared anywhere else in Portland. Treat yourself and make a reservation and you will not be disappointed!
I love this place. I'm a big fan of French cuisine and they are doing it right, here. The space is intimate and comfortable. The staff are amazing and attentive in the way you want. The owner was there and sent us some amazing wine with our meal that paired very well with our chosen dishes. I will definitely be stopping in again.
Great evening. Excellent food, wine and service. I had zucchini soup, pork tenderloin, and creme brûlée. All were beautifully prepared and delicious. The creme brûlée was far superior to any other version of this dessert I gave had in Portland. We will be returning soon.
An amazing tasting menu with exceptional wine pairings! The owner personally sees to every detail to ensure a wonderful experience. C'est Si Bon is hands down the very best French restaurant in Portland!
Beautiful, intimate setting transports you. The host/ owner is fantastic and personable. We had the scalllops, cheese puffs, pear and blue cheese salad, and duck confit. Incredible. Will be back!
This is the sweetest place with great lighting, ambiance, service and food. We had a wonderful time celebrating our friends' anniversary. Well crafted cocktails, great wine selection and delicious food- the filo cheese bundles, salmon and creme brulee were fantastic.
Thank you for celebrating our anniversary! The scallop and foie gras puffs were excellent appetizers. Unfortunately, both the duck and smoked tenderloin were overcooked. Creme Brule was excellent.
An assortment of high quality French dishes! Bob bons were excellent. Foie Gras was well done. Desserts were great. Wine was very good. Duck was dry and overcooked. I will go again, simply avoiding the duck.

Dinnerwas absolutely extrodinary! The owner, I think his name was John, gave us fantastic dinner recommendations and then made wine pairing suggestions that were very tasty. The food was just as wonderful. It was all prepared beautifully and very tasty. Made for a very romantic evening out, thank you!
Very warm and cozy atmosphere, with friendly staff. We selected the seven course tasting menu for our meal which the presentation and plating was beautiful, but beyond that the tastes were quite bland (outside of the scallops which were the best I've had). There was also quite a long wait between courses. We were told that any reservations around the 7:00pm hour usually experienced slow service due to volume (explained half way through our dining experience). Overall, staff and management were very nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is cute, cozy, and romantic, however the food itself, and the wait were not worth the price. Perhaps we were there on an off night, but our experience did not live up to expectations.
This restaurant never disappoints. The food was great and the ambience was delightful. Very much like a small French Cafe. The owner is delightful and very ever knowledgeable. Treat yourself and give them a try. I do not live in Portland but it has been a real treat introducing this place to friends who do. P. S. Every time I have been there, we have ended up talking to people at adjacent tables. There is something about that atmosphere that encourages camaraderie.
C'est si Bon is a delightful small bistro with attentive, personalized service. Trust the wine recommendations. And, after several visits, I can say the cuisine keeps getting better and better. Order the Savoyard cheese puffs!
First time customer. Truly impressed by food, exceptional quality and superior value - menu is broad enough to not feel limiting at all. Service including by owner was terrific, right pace, great advice on wine choice. In a nutshell, we will be back , it feels like we discovered a gem.
