Cha Cha Cha Taqueria Lombard

Yesterday, August 19, 2024 I called ChaChaCha on N Lombard and verified my reservation for lunch at 11:30 AM for 10-12 people. At 11:30 we show up at the door and a kitchen worker told us that the restaurant doesn't open until 3 PM!
Talk about inconvenience!! Luckily we walked next door to Chill n'Fill and were able to get lunch there.
Needless to say, none of us will go to ChaChaCha ever again for any meal!

First timer, got a carry out and it was great. Guacamole and roasted salsa was far beyond my expectation, delicious. Tacos were also delicious but the tortillas were fair, would be better if they were a little pan fried. The atmosphere was lovely ?. Yes, I will return. Gracias.

very expensive for the portions

This used to be my after work go to each week. They had great nachos, unfortunately recently something has changed. The last two times I went it is clear they have switched out ingredients or where they buy from. I was very displeased with the food. I will not be returning and I no longer recommend this place. The hot sauces have also changed to be more bland. The drinks are good, but I'm sure there's other places where you can get similar good drinks as well as food. There's a reason this place is typically empty.

We sat down and he asked if we wanted chips and salsa but didn’t mention they were 6$! Like I could have had a beer instead. The food is mid at best.

What a great place that we stumbled upon. Fabulous margarita’s, super friendly staff and inclusive atmosphere. Great service staff and quick delivery of food and drinks. We had great food and we raved about the street tacos. We would certainly go again. Within walking distance from University of Portland.

Recently revisited Cha Cha Cha Taqueria Lombard and I’m thrilled with the improvements! The food is more flavorful and fresh than ever. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s definitely worth a trip back. They offer a great selection of Mexican dishes at reasonable prices, and the service is commendable. The restaurant itself is a gem, with a clean, bright, and minimalistic decor, and the option to dine indoors or enjoy the outdoor courtyard.

I never leave bad reviews but the food here was terrible. I had the chicken fajitas which were inedible, and was with someone who had beef and also found it inedible. The other 3 dishes we got were mediocre. The only good tasting item was the guacamole and it was extremely small for $13 and the chips were not good. The service was nice enough but made a lot of mistakes.I also heard from a friend that they had multiple pieces of plastic in their food on another occasion and were still charged for it.
