Holy cow, amazing, tandoori, tuna salad, sandwich at this little food cart by the upright brewing. New location at a renovated gas station on Northeast Prescott. !! The atmosphere rating is for the inside dining option (or picnic tables) at the upright brewing and Juniors coffee at the ‘station’Also, they have a happy hour special every day from 3 to 5 with deals on sandwiches and beers !

We stopped by today for lunch and had a beer at the Upright Taproom next door. We had the lamb smashburger and masala pulled pork sandwich at their recommendation. I was infatuated with the pulled pork sandwich, the mint chutney on it and the juicy flavor of the pork was perfect. The lamb on the smashburger had such a great flavor. We also had the papadams with chutney and the three different chutneys were all so good. I will definitely be back to try their hot dogs and the tuna salad sandwich.

Fantastic experience overall! Waiting for a late night flight, I stopped at Korner Pocket for some pool and wanted to grab some delicious food before hitting the airport. Person working was friendly and after asking what the most popular dishes were, I went for the lamb smash burger. I’m a former vegetarian (born and raised), and don’t eat a ton of meat outside chicken and fish, but man this hit the spot!! Flavorful, juicy, and filling! Nice vinegary cut up beets on the side and some proper fried Indian snacks. Super satisfying. It was late and cold so I didn’t eat at the picnic tables - nice area though… Grateful for the unexpected treat that wrapped up an otherwise unexpected hellish visit to WA.

Dropped in for a couple of beers and a bite recently. I love saag paneer, and opted for that option, having NO idea it would be in sandwich form (I should learn to read things). Besides my inability to read, the sandwich was tasty and a fun take on a familiar dish. Prices are really great, especially given their no-tipping stance. The food was a great size to eat while having drinks, too. Great place, I'll be back!

Authentic, spice-laden, yummy Indian snacks!!I have eaten here a few times. Have tried the saag paneer sandwich, the papadums and the chaat. Everything was very tasty…..I will say that the Chaat was a LOT for what it is. It’s super flavorful (and a bit spicy for me, in a good way) but the serving size felt too big for 2 of us to finish. Great for sharing with more. The chutneys for the papadums are all delicious!! Wish they had masala chai!! Also, they are a no-tip establishment! (They pay their employees a living wage)!

Owner said that he would issue a refund - never bothered to do so. Very dissappointed in poor customer service. Would otherwise have gladly changed my initial review, but I guess that's just how they do business.

Excellent service, had a pint from next door because it was happy hour. Had the Saag Paneer sandwich. So good with with my pint of stout. Great flavors. Ate it so fast that I forgot to take a picture of my Saag Paneer sandwich.

Ok if I could afford to eat this every day I would. The smash burger is BEYOND DELICIOUS. It’s a notch above everything I’ve had in Portland; let alone the world. So good I had to write a review. The people that run it are awesome, and no tipping! Just incredible food and an incredible business model. Do NOT sleep on this.

Papadams and chutneys are so good! The ultimate bar snack. I ate a lot of it, took it home and ate some more, and still had one left for a midnight snack.

Lamb Smashburger was outstanding! Also heard great things about the vegetarian options. Will definitely be returning to try more food items!

Lamb Smashburger has potential. It’s a good portion with interesting flavors, but over salted (even for smashburger standards) and dwarfed by an enormous bun. You could take one of the bun halves, cut it in half, and still have an above-average bun. Previous patrons were served fritos as a lazy side; I was served the somehow worse plain tortilla chips. To the owners: if you want any chance at succeeding then you need to: 1) provide more pickled veg on the side (three tiny pickle slices don’t cut it) to help cut the richness of the main 2) sell the sandwich a la carte at a lower price ($17 for the sandwich and tortilla chips is insulting given that they do not count as a side) or 3) find a reasonable side, ideally something chaat-related, that helps someone feel like they are eating a real meal and not a sandwich + afterthought.

The side of chips are simply grocery store chips, almost certainly Juanita’s brand. The Masala Pulled Pork was very mustard seed and coriander seed heavy. I feel the meat paired better with the chips than on the bun. This business would do much better as an Indian nacho place. Also, it is right next door to a place that sells beer so the two businesses would complement each other well if they sold Indian nachos rather than sandwiches.
