The atmosphere is escapism from the hustle and bustle of inner Portland: Lloyd District. The employees are very friendly and funny: in a very Chinese kinda' way ;-) There is a local bar scene off to the left, to the right is maybe 10 booths, and behind that there are 2 banquet rooms. Came across this place in search for gluten free Chinese food and it definitely hits that spot—they can make a bunch of different things on their menu gluten free if you specify and I'm very thankful for that! Looove the bbq pork fried rice :)
I recommend Chen's to anyone. Looking for a great atmosphere, friendly workers with exceptional service, some grub at a reasonable price. Gotta head towards Chen's, they'll make you wanna forget all the other choices when deciding where to dine.
